Introduction

To always participate in this contest has always been my dream, the beauty that comes from art is really exhilarating. This week, we are to draw a cat.

A cat is an animal loved by a whole lot of people. It clean, tender and domestic nature makes it a beauty to behold.

What Do I Need?

To draw the cat I used;

A Plain paper
A Ball point pen.

The Processes

I get myself ready by inscribing Steemit logo at the right and the Steem4Nigeria logo at the left.

Every great drawing begins with a stroke, I drew mine.

From the looks of it, I'm starting with the head, I draw the two ears first,

Then comes the whiskers,

The face is formed, and the legs comes next.

Completing it form and tail, our cat looks more outstanding.

It facial features is all that is left to define it. I then proceed to add it eyes.
And Do you know the cat tends to see better at night?

Here is Mr cat, and he really looks so mean. Guess what, he probably might have seen a rat.

Economic Importance of a cat

Since times past, the cat has been useful in hunting rodents esp. the house rat. It is even more efficient and safer than most rodent poisons and chemicals.
It cleanliness makes it a very wonderful pet and a nice company. This is especially true for those who are single and lonely or in need of a company.
The cat meal is a sure way to dispose your fresh fish.....rather than make a wet mess of fresh fishes, why not make a delicious cat meal.
Some people eat the meats from cat. Though cringe for some people, the meat from cats is far far more nutritious than cows beef.
