It's sad that despite warnings from your top economists and other qualified researchers, considerations were never taken seriously. Instead, the oil wealth was wasted on inconsistent subsidies and rampant administrative corruption, which has been a defining feature of the country's history. The money from oil could have been used in better ways to benefit the people and the economy, but unfortunately, it was misused and lost due to poor decisions and corruption. Hopefully things get better, all the best.
