The democratic system of governance in Nigeria is a good Idea i must say, but the typical problem is, it is never the way it used to be. Rigging of election has been the order of the day and this is getting serious every voting year.

The aspect of citizens having voters card is never enough to conduct a free and fair elections in the country as though we get to see cases like ghost voters being counted among the people that are literally present.

Just as you have said, there should be a blockchain like system of voting which I believe will that this system will only validate actual citizens and then they can cast their votes.
