Some even had to hide in the bush to avoid getting beaten up. On top of that, the students had to do a lot of work like clearing grass and farming, which made them strong but also stubborn. It seems like there was a lot of commotion and fighting happening almost every day. The school authority even had to bring in the army to maintain discipline and stop the bullying. It's really unfortunate that your school lacked proper learning facilities, and even the ones you had were locked up to prevent damage. That must have made it even harder to learn. And it's really concerning that examination malpractice was so common, even in important exams like the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). It's important to have a fair and honest educational system. I hope things have improved since then.
