This is my first challenge in session 15 week 1. I chose Steem4Nigeria because it addresses the issue of our lives on social media. I hope this review is useful and can be interesting to read. I invite @walictd @cymolan @aprendeconkevin to join this interesting challenge.

Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time?

Modern life that is full of digital breath makes people quickly carried away. So that all daily activities feel incomplete if they don't appear on social media. This is the result of a society that deifies social media in all activities.

Admittedly, there are times when personal or community (communal) activities must be promoted or published, so that many people know. The positive value is that people can follow the good things from our posts.

In another context, I found that many personal activities of some coworkers are often posted on social media. So that there is an impression of showing off, there are times when it makes other people feel jealous. For example, when vacation photos with family abroad. Some people immediately broadcast it on social media. It could be with the intention of showing others that they can travel abroad.

This phenomenon is common in the digital age. For myself, I have many considerations on this matter. Basically, I don't agree with posting all our personal activities on social media. However, there are certain activities that require social accountability, which makes me agree to post them on social media.

Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effects turned out well?

In reality, there are some cases that happen. There are people who consistently appear on social media, then it has a good impact on their career and finances. It doesn't happen to everyone. Only those who are lucky, such as artists or celebrities.

But especially for celebgrams who already have a lot of fans on social media. Most of their activities are always posted on their social media, be it Instagram or TikTok.

When an influencer appears on social media with hundreds of thousands of followers, it certainly has a good impact on their economic life. For example, they get orders to publicize certain products. Starring in commercials or beauty products that are going viral. As well as other things related to promotion.

Of course, this is a good result for them. For example, when they become a reseller of a product. Then their business is loved by many fans so that it becomes more advanced and develops rapidly.

Do you think all the showcase on social media are true?

In recent years, there is a harsh reality that many people have to accept. Because in its development, not all information circulating in cyberspace, especially social media, is always true. There are times when information circulating on social media is a hoax. Or even laden with elements of agitation that have the potential to damage public comfort.

In certain years, such as presidential or regent election years, this hoax information is continuously fried to bring down opponents. Sometimes it is also used for black campaign purposes. This type of campaign usually targets social media users who are still unstable and do not re-verify the information they receive. This is a negative effect that we don't want to see.

Do you feel safe on steemit with your information? What can you say about steemit

So far I have always felt quite comfortable making posts on Steemit. I also believe that the information I present is different from what is widely circulated on other social media. The reason is that all the information we offer here is content-oriented. There is no intention to show off to other steemians.

The difference with social media is the motivation. On average, those who like to make posts on social media such as Instagram, Twitter (now called X), Facebook, Telegram, TikTok, Pinterest, I judge more on the desire to show others. Very little motivation for content needs.

For Steemit itself I can say, this is a social media that has great potential to grow again in the future. This is because this blockchain-based social media can accommodate all levels of society to express themselves on social media.

Except that, Steemit also provides rewards to content creators as long as the content is quality and actively interacts with various communities. Although there is no guarantee of getting upvotes, most writers on this platform really enjoy it.

I hope, in the coming years, Steemit can rival the popularity of other social media in the world. Hopefully, we can achieve that in the next few years.
