Hello everyone. It's a wonderful time again to share my lessons with you. I hope you have been good. I'm doing fine here. The weather has been so cool here, although we are currently experiencing cold, even though it's not yet a cold season.

In my last post, I talked about "don't judge people by their look". I explained succinctly why we should not define people by their appearance. That people are not what they look like. The real definition of a man is not in his look. If you have not read the article, I implore you to check it out. It blessed a lot of people.

Today, I'm going to be talking about another important thing, too. Of course, you know that when I write, I discuss about pertinent thing that we all should take note. And the lesson is first to me before I push it out to you. Be rest assured that I have taken my own lesson. Hence, I want you to take yours, too. Take a seat; read to the end.

Crawling is Not a Crime

One of the things I have observed when it comes to growth is, it requires a lot of efforts. Growth is one of the most difficult thing in life. So many people want to grow but they don't want to pay the price attached to it. We all want to be at high places, but only few are ready to do what it takes to actually get there.

Growth is never instantaneous. It can never be. The truth is, if you want to grow, you need to understand that growth can't be attained in seconds. It requires a lot of time and energy.

I have seen people committed to a cause for some times and quit just because it never yielded what they thought it would yield for that period of their commitment. Growth is never a one time on, and one time off. It requires dedicated consistency.

I don't know if you have ever climbed stair case. If you have, you will understand what it's to continue climbing if you have not reached where you are going. You see, growth is like stair case. If you fail to take the next step, you will only remain where you are. Some people are only on the first stair, and never want to take the next step.

If you really want to grow, be focused.

People don't know or may have forgotten that growth needs a fixed attention, a fixed gaze. If you want to grow, then you need to keep your focus on growth. One of the ways to keep growing and to keep going is to hold you focus very tightly.

People start something but they never end it, don't have energy to continue because they lose focus. You see, when focus is lost, there's no way by which you can continue growing. You just need to keep focusing on where you are going if you really want to grow. I know it may be difficult because there are many things that may want to shift one attention. But you can never attain that height, achieve that thing with a divided mind.

Whatever you want to achieve in life, you need to grow to attain it. And if you will grow, you will need to keep your focus, your eyes fixed on it. Nobody has ever achieved great thing without focus. Be focused. Grow to achieve.

If you really want to grow, pay the price.

It's quite easy to get a thing for free, yeah. But it becomes difficult when you need to pay to get it. The truth is, growth is not for free. It requires payment. If growth is for free, everyone would have achieved what their heart desires.

Growth is never free and that's why not everyone grows. It's only those who pay its price that actually grows. So, if you really want to grow, you will pay the price. Often people think they can grow without paying the price. It's has never be done that way, and it will never. You need to pay the price.

There are many prices you need to pay. Many things you need to do to grow. But, mostly what you will do will not be convenient because if it's convenient it's never a price. Paying the pice is never something easy.

If you really want to grow, be committed.

Previously, I talked about paying the price. Perhaps one of the prices you need to pay is to stay committed. Anybody who wants to grow must be committed to the activities that will make him grow. Some people enjoy the reward that comes with growth but they never want to be committed to the painful process that actually brings about growth.

Whatever it will take you to be committed, you have to do it. See, if it is crawling, crawl. After all, crawling is not a crime. Sometimes, people want to go very fast, they have forgotten that growth is a process. If you are at the stage of crawling, crawl. Don't jump the process. Never think because someone people are already walking and you want to jump the process. Be committed to the crawling activities you are doing, and keep doing them faithfully.

Often time, that little activities that seem insignificant will eventually become something great if you keep doing them. It's not about how big it is, it's about how committed you are to them that will show how great they can become. So, if it's crawling, craw faithfully and never give up. Just keep growing. A time is coming when you will be moved to the stage of walking.
