Hello my fellow friends, I'm glad to be here again to drop my second entry for my lifestyle content choice, this time around I am going to my food diary.

Afang soup is a delicious soup that is popularly known by Nigerians and also some parts of Africa. It is especially common among our people, this Afang soup is now part of us because without Afang in your occasion the food is not complete.

What I did I bought Afang leaves that was not yet slice then I make sure I washed it very well so that there will be no sand then 8 spread it outside for it to dry.

Washed Afang leaves

While i was drying the Afang leaves I roasted my meat so that the hair on the body can leave since it was a fresh meat.

So after I finish roasting the mean I season it and keep then I start cutting my periwinkle because I don't like buying the one that is already cut in the market while because I don't want to eat dead periwinkle and I love those fresh ones, so after cutting it I washed them and keep it aside

Then I went back to check on the Afang leaves to check if the water has dry so that I can slice it, so when I checked it was ok for me to start slicing.

After that I give my son to blend it while I washed my water leave then I slice it and keep one place.

By this time my soup is 70% ready, I then blend my pepper then
Place my cooking pot on fire put my wash stock fish and cook it for like 30min so that it will be soft then I add my cook meat and periwinkle and then I add a little red oil then cover it to cook it for like 5min, after that I add my slice water leaves then I allow it to cook for like 2 min. So that the water leaves will still be fresh.

After that I add my blended crayfish, pepper, then I add my red oil again then add my blended Afang soup and my delicious Afang soup was ready for consumption and I downloaded it with my swallow.
