Hello friends greetings to all. Hope you all are well. By the grace of Allah I am also well. Every engagement pageant in this 12th season is awesome. So back to participate in this awesome community organized engagement contest. The name of this contest is Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC)| S12W3- "Security Matters". So let's get started on this contest I'll be happy to discuss in detail.

In your own words what do you understand by the word security

In simple language, the word security means taking care of something or someone, taking risks and protecting against threats. Security is a right of every human being. This means when it refers to protecting against an unseen risk or fear of losing family wealth. It refers to the defense mechanism of a person or thing, where their protection is associated with protection. Therefore security means taking precautions and defenses against various risks.

In your country, in what ways has the government been able to keep the citizens safe?

In fact, what else can I say about the security system of Bangladesh. I am really ashamed of this security system. The government of Bangladesh only uses the police to keep all the citizens of the country safe.

There are police check posts in all parts of the country. The police can provide security to all the citizens of Bangladesh, but it is now in a very poor condition. There are thefts and robberies in different parts of our country. In every village of the country, theft is happening constantly. In Bangladesh since 2015 there have been incidents of robbery on various roads. For this, police checkposts have been installed at various places.

But the citizens of Bangladesh are facing many problems because the police is not doing its proper duty. Most of the robberies happened on the highways of Bangladesh. Every year many people die due to robbery in these vehicles. Police negligence is responsible for this. Police of Bangladesh has destroyed the security of the citizens by taking bribes. So no more security measures are being taken by the government.

Personally, what do you do for yourself or your family to be safe in your town or country?

Personally, I take several security measures for myself or my family to stay safe in my city or country. Actually I think the most important thing in our life is security. So to be safe in our life we ​​have to take care of security. Below are some examples of my security measures.

In fact, the area where I live has a relatively low incidence of robbery. But there are different churs around. So we have to live life very carefully. That is why I have to take a lot of security measures.

• For the security of my house, I have built a wall and gate system around the house so that no one but people we know can enter.

• We have a bike that also needs to be secured. So I have fitted a good quality lock on the bike. Lock the bike when left somewhere.

• Our mobile phone is the most important thing. So when we go to an unknown place we leave the mobile phone at home or keep it carefully in our pocket.

• When we go through a dark place or an unknown place we try to have a guardian with us so that we have people to support us.

• I have prepared some special weapons in my house to protect myself from robbers. It will only be used for self defense in case of house robbery.

Have you experienced or heard of any case of insecurity (robbery or kidnap)? What happened?

Actually I have not experienced any robbery by robbers. But I heard about a kidnapping of my cousin. I heard it when I was in my hostel doing diploma engineering. I was then in Tangail city and my cousin was going to Dhaka city for a need. So he left at night because if you travel at night there are no jams and you can go very well.

He used to go by bus from the bus station near our house. That bus was a long distance bus. But he didn't know that a lot of caution has to be taken while traveling on that highway at night. So after half way he could guess that there might be abduction inside the bus. But by then it was too late.

So all the robbers forcibly took money, goods etc. from the passengers of the bus. I took the mobile phone from my elder brother. However, he could not take it because he hid his wallet. So after a long time the robbers escaped because the bus was damaged. Next morning I came to know about this incident. This was the case of robbery.

What do you think is the best way to keep a home secure?

If God protects us then we need no security. But we have concerns about protecting our daily lives. We want our family and all of us to live safely. But from my side, there is no fear of robbers in the place where I live, Alhamdulillah. We all live together. At the risk of one of us, ten more will come forward. Our house has three rooms. Which are half built or plastered. So a thief can never steal. Every day before going to sleep we close each room and go to sleep. There is a gate around our house.

As a result, no one can enter our house even if they want to. There are always people in our house so no one is alone. My father, mother, brother are with me so there is no fear. But I think if we have more resources then there is no need to inform people. We all need to strengthen our homes. Always use a lock in the house. So that the criminals have no chance to enter the house. A proper home is a safe way to stay. The fact is that we must always be cautious and careful.
