It's nice to say hello again at the end of the first week of SEC-15. This time I am participating in a contest with an interesting theme about social media that is often a part of our lives. But first I would like to invite @meriseptriyanti @mirawn and @miftahulrizky to participate.

The presence of social media in today's society has provided enormous benefits, especially after pandemic era. Social media is quite helpful in erasing the distance between people, so it is very effective in shortening the time to communicate. However, something that has a high positive impact, does not rule out the possibility of having a high negative impact as well.

Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time?

Social media itself is basically part of the development of the internet. The presence of a few decades ago has made social media able to develop and grow widely and quickly as it is now. This is what makes all users connected to an internet connection able to carry out the process of disseminating information or content anytime and anywhere.

But I don't think it's necessary to give out information about ourselves on social media. Indeed, social media is a virtual world that applies ourselves in the real world. However, social media is also often misused and leads to crime. So I think being wise in our use and sharing our lives only as necessary on social media can prevent that from happening.

Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effects turned out well?

I haven't experienced it yet because I'm afraid of the repercussions of showing off too much on social media, such as data theft and other crimes.

And I think it's good to get used to showing off your life on social media. It can bring good opportunities and can increase the number of followers. In fact, having a large number of followers can have a high influence on social media, so there will be many good offers, especially in the form of business and politics.

Do you think all the showcase on social media are true?

No, I don't. I don't think that everything someone shares on social media is true. Most people want to look great and happy and successful on social media. For that they will share the good things and very rarely share the bitter things that they are really going through. And even if they do, there is a reason for it.

So I guess being wise in its use has always been the main way to address and respond to something shared on social media.

Do you feel safe on steemit with your information? What can you say about steemit

Steemit is also one of the social media, where we interact and access information. Like other social media, there is still a possibility of cybercrime in steemit. Therefore, I will always be wise in social media regardless of the platform.

And because steemit is used by many people in the world, it is appropriate if we maintain the rules and ethics when interacting with people on it.
