He threw a stone at a nearby building to alert the army personnel who are staying close by. The stone hit the zinc roof of an unfinished building near their security post. This noise caught their attention, and they came to respond. When the army personnel arrived, the thieves ran away. My neighbor's family was scared, but they are safe now.
