Hello steemians,
I welcome you all to week 5 of the Steemit engagement challenge in this season 12. This week I want to present my entry into this noble community on the topic my skills take me up.
Here the community wants us to talk a little or more about our various skills and I'm delighted to share it with you all. I will be answering the questions that follow so that we all will understand it better.
In your opinion, what do you think a skill is?
Various people have different views about what a skill is In this question today I'm going to be explaining my understanding of the said word. A skill in my understanding is the ability of someone to do a particular thing or things very well.
A skill is more like a handwork. When you learn something and you can do it perfectly well then we say that thing is your skill. Everyone in life has one thing or the other that they know how to do properly and that is what we call skills.
In your country, is a skill or skills needed for daily survival, or is not needed?
Yes, in my country Nigeria, everyone needs a skill to survive. Even those who went to school to study also need skills to survive the country because it is not all about the knowledge you have in the book but what you can deliver to those out there.
So skill is very important to every Nigerian citizen since there is no job opportunity guarantee for those who have spent money to study in the university or any other higher institutions. With a skill you will be able to take care of yourself pending when you get a government job.
Tell us some skills in your country that are so resourceful.
There are many resourceful skills in my country among which include carpenter, hairdressing, building work or architecture design, and many more.
There are many other skills such as computer education and even tailoring and playing football and other games alike. All of these are skills that people acquire to earn daily earnings.
What skill do you wish to learn and why do you want such a skill
The most profitable skill I have admired so far is trading skills. Trading is one of the most important skills I have seen trending in recent times because it is indeed a lucrative way of making money in cyberspace.
At the moment I have started some Little research and learning about that but I guess I need more time to be able to process the whole idea since it is not something easily learned. I'm positive that with time I will become more familiar with these very skills.
