How important is Punctuality to you

I'm so delighted to share my entry into this amazing contest today. In this noble community, we have a lovely contest that will be of interest to almost everyone because of how interesting it is at the moment.

I would love to attempt the questions given below as a sign of my participation in this noble contest and I hope everyone here will love to read through my post. Let's start immediately without any time wasting.

What does punctuality mean to you?

Punctuality means to be early in something. When you go to a place on time, it means you are punctual. This means that as a person, all you need is to always be quick and early in anything you do to be called a punctual person.

If for example, you are to be at a program that will start by 8:00 a.m., and you arrive at the program at about 7:30 a.m. i.e. 30 minutes before the time, it means you are a punctual person.

Alternatively, if you come 30 minutes late to that same program it means you are not a punctual person. So whichever way you think of it, you need to be at the place before the time to be tagged as a punctual person.

List and explain some importance of being punctual in life.

There are many reasons or important associated with punctuality and one of them is that you will get to be there and study the place on time. Another reason is that you won't be taken unaware in case of any happening around the area because you came in earlier.

One other reason or important for punctuality is that you will be the one to select the most suitable place you wish to stay in case of the desk in a classroom or rooms in the hostel because you came earlier.

In summary, punctuality gives you the ability to make a choice and not just go with what is available at the moment. These and many more are the basic importance of punctuality.

What do you understand by the expression "The early bird gets the worm" and do you believe it is true?

Yes, when you get to the venue on time as I have clearly explained above, you will have the option to make the best choices since everything is available at the moment and nothing has been taken.

Whereas when you are late you are just left with the leftovers and you will have to do with exactly what you see because those who came earlier had already selected the best from the many things provided.

People say "It's better late than never". Do you agree with this and why?

Yes, this is indeed a powerful word which means that it is better to get to a place late than never to get there. A good example is a man who is in a hurry to go to work and then he tries starting his vehicle but because God wants to save him from danger he makes the vehicle not start.

The man then looked for an alternative and then entered the road despite all the warning signals he got. He had a terrible accident and died thereafter. You can see that it could have been better if he got there late than now he died without even reaching his destination.
