The diary game: Harvest of the season. 01/08/2024

Greetings to the entire members of this great community. I'm happy we are all doing well this season of the beginning of Harvest.

I'm here to share with you how my day went through. However, it has been a rainy day.

Morning

This morning I woke up very late. It was around 9:00am due to last night's stress.

Today has been a rainy day but it was okay because I couldn't stress that much but only took my knife and entered my farm for harvest.

Indeed it's good to have a farm especially now that the cost of living in Nigeria my country is so high! I wonder how those without farms or good handwork would survive the heat?

My farm is just in front of my house and that makes it more easier for me to enter the farm at any time. However, I have been enjoying corn throughout July 2024 without buying.

The day I mistakenly asked the price of roasted corn, I was told that 1 is sold at #400. I was very hungry then and had no option.

All this while, my farm had been missing me because of tight schedules, and before reaching the farm, I discovered that some corn had dried up while the birds had done away with some but I had to take what was left handy.

In conclusion, there is no labour that is in vain. We started this year's planting around April which the sun was much and all the crops died while we replant again and at the end, we came out strong.
