Greetings to you and how are you doing today. Indeed I am glad to have you here on my post. Firstly, let me use this opportunity in thanking @steem4nigeria for organizing this wounderful contest and for they support so far. Thank you also my dear friend for your support and time here.

How well is Steemit known in your Country? Do you think it's popular enough or there is a need for more publicity?

Steemit is a social media platform that is still not highly known in my country Nigeria. In Nigeria, a lot of people have still not known about Steemit and this is because someone has not told them about Steemit or they have not heard about STEEMIT/STEEMIT coin, from friends or other social media platforms nor seen Steemit been displayed inform of Google Ads on most websites and applications.

If we are to carry-out a survey to know the total numbers of Steemians in Nigeria we will see that we are not up to a thousand of users in Nigeria. However, some that joined left Steemit for one reason or the others without recruiting others to join Steemit. However, to me I think there is a big need for more publicity about Steemit.

The fact is that in order for Steemit to be well known in any country, there most be promotion that will capture more users to Steemit. In those days, anything promotion is usually done via radio, television, postcard, flyer an ad in the news or a brochure. Today, promotion are hardly done in these ways because promoting your business using the old means will only attract less customers that are just within your area.

There is a big need for Steemit publicity as to attract more users which can be done aside via some of the promotion that seem to be old ways of promoting business due to the advancement of technology which I will like us to take a look at some of them on the next question below.

What are the ways you think the promotion of Steemit can be more effective in your Country? This can include special projects you have in mind.

Today, the world that we are is a digital world where almost everything is now going globally compared to how things were done between 5 to 10 years backed. Promotion has gone far beyond what it was like before where people usually go to radio and television house to promote their businesses or services just as I have earlier discuss about few of them above☝️.

For Steemit to be more effective in Nigeria, I think the following underlisted ways will help out.

• Search Engines promotion (Google search or Google ad)

• Social Media Promotion (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tiktok and YouTube)

• Local Community Promotion (Mouth to Mouth, Events, Press and Sponsorships)

• Organizing an Annual conference (just as SteemFest)

Do you think Steemit would be adopted more in your country if the points you listed above are implemented?

Yes I strongly believe that Steemit would be adopted more in Nigeria if the points that I have listed are implemented. Let's see the reasons why below.

Search engine promotion: Steemit can be more effective in Nigeria if it's promoted using Google Ads in promoting it. In every blessed day billions of people access the internet and I believe using Google to promote Steemit will capture over 45% of people that access the internet daily. Google Ads is the more effective way that Steemit can be known in Nigeria.

Using Google Ads for Steemit promotion will make millions of Nigeria know about Steemit and their will definitely join Steemit and recruit more users also after their have joined.

Social Media Promotion: The is another good ways that Steemit can be more effective if it's promoted through social media like Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube etc. These affomentioned social media are social media that are access by millions of users all around world.

Most of these social media platform, are places where top Investors, celebrities can be capture and this is the reasons as to why companies are now promoting they businesses on social media platforms because it's where information can be pass across to millions of people within a minutes.

Also, I think for Steemit to be more effective in Nigeria, there should be a Nigeria Facebook Page, Twitter account and YouTube channel where Steemit is discussed and promoted.

I discovered that a lot of people prefer getting information from a Facebook page or Twitter than going to the business website. This is because Facebook pages and Twitter are where issue can be resolved fast and more vital information can be discussed one on one with the promoter or company.

The questions now is how can Steemit be effective using social media promotion? Who can be in good position to handle this social media promotion in Nigeria?. Okay let's take a look the answers to these questions.

At this point let's make reference to the use of Facebook.

• I think the first step is to create a Facebook Steemit page with Steemit logo etc.

• The next step should be event that will promote Steemit on the Steemit Facebook page. At this point, every Nigeria Steemians would need to share the event on their profile.

• Finally to this a Facebook live session should be runs, such as Tutorials about Steemit.

Who will be in good position to handle this social media promotion in Nigeria?.

Country Representative (CR). The person that is representing Nigerians in Steemit should be the one to manage the affairs of the social media platforms whether Facebook or YouTube and he/she can delegate other users in each of the state in Nigeria to work with him/her.

Local Community Promotion (Mouth to Mouth, Events, Press and Sponsorships):
Steemit can become more effective if we continue promoting Steemit in our various community which can be done via mouth to mouth, events, press or sponsorships programe.

First and foremost, I want to say a big thanks to all those that have been promoting Steemit via differnent ways in their host community to continue the good work. However, more can be done in Nigeria, if we can unite and organize a place like one of the institutions in Nigeria and promote Steemit.

Finally, if in Nigeria there can be something like SteemFest that is organized annually where Nigerians and even other African countries can come together share and discuss about Steemit growths you will see thank within that day thousands of people that saw what happens will definitely join Steemit without someone talking to them. People questions would then be please how can I Join Steemit and so on. Thousands of people would be interested.

How have you contributed your quota to the development of Steemit in your community?

Yes I have contributed my quota to the development of Steemit in my community and I am still doing that and even planning to do more in a bigger way by the grace of God. In any places that I found myself, I usually makes sure that I spread Steemit and STEEM coin to the community so their can also become a member like me and even do better than me.

However, as for now my quota to the development of Steemit in my community is by recruiting new users to Steemit and letting my community to know about Steemit via mouth to mouth discussions, posting about Steemit both on Facebook and WhatsApp.
