My neighborhood watch 53#

A special and lovely greetings to my fellow steemians around the globe, how are you all doing today, hope you are doing well as for me am amazing as well, by the way I'm john from Nigeria, it my pleasure and privilege having you all in this contest "My Neighborhood Watch #53" organized by @xkool24 here in #steem4nigeria.

It's a very good and beautiful thing to share with people how your environment looks like and also give them awareness to new things around you because we all lives in different area that are blessed with different natural resources and also the way people live their lives differently.

A neighborhood is a geographical area where people live and interact with each other and as well abide with some rules and regulations keeping them as one community or groups

They are several things and work happening around my area which I will be sharing with you few of them .

First is the existence of small market and retailers shops, the people in my area usually involves in retail shops and small market because of the area and distance to the manufacturer products company.

Secondly garri processing , the people living around my neighbourhood mostly involves in garri processing which requires some experiences, hard work and few steps to carry on, garri is made from cassava through the process of grounding, fermentation, pressing, and frying

Next is the existence of many people which are mostly children and women because most of the men usually go to work which may be farm work or white collar job and come back late so the people you are likely to see at home during the day are mostly women and their children

Transportations and commercial vehicles like Keke(tricycle) and buses are seen around because of the local markets and movement of people from different place to different destinations, people involved in this commercial transport business are really making a lot of money, but the issue affecting this is traffics and also because of the road blocks and many check point we have in our community today by which they have to pay a lot of money been extorted from the drivers by the road sides officers and this is really affecting transport fare.

There is a small stream which never runs dry even during dry seasons, the stream helps and provides the community people with water during water scarcity and when other sources of getting water are not available, most people in the community believe the water is been given to them by their fore father's and since they lives the water never runs dry that may be true or false depending on what you believe.

They is a popular furniture shop that produce good and comfortable furniture, their efforts and hardwork are not in vain because they always produce the best when it comes to furniture making there are located at enugu state, in Nike LGA area along to abakpa market along ojoto street the name of the shop is Abrahamic Furniture.

Also the government are taking measures to provide roads along the rural area in my area, so there are Contractors and different road building tractors which there use to demolish bad roads and rebuild new ones, I can say the government are doing a great job in this aspect and because the rural areas also deserves better life and good things as well as the urban areas.
