Indonesia is my country where in August we just celebrated its 78th year and this is a big day for us because the beginning of Indonesian independence was precisely on August 17, 1945, where previously Indonesia was colonized by the Netherlands and Japan.
Japan is one of the countries that once colonized Indonesia, but with an atomic bomb from the United States, precisely on August 6, 1945, the city of Hiroshima was destroyed. Not long after three days, Japan was also bombed again by the United States, causing thousands of people from Hiroshima and Nagasaki died, finally the destruction of Japan was known by Indonesia
After the leak of Japan's defeat, Indonesian youth urged Sukarno and Hatta to proclaim Indonesian independence and that time coincided with August 17, 1945.
