My Neighborhood Watch #52 - Reporting Events Around us

It's always exciting to make post in a community like Steem4Nigeria. Before I start I would like to invite two fellow Steemians @crismenia and @joymm to participate in the contest.

A heartiest congratulations to @xkool24 for hosting the 52nd week contest so successfully. We really enjoyed the event arround the world throughout the year.

Same heat wave is continuing as usual. Though there was some forcast of storm with rain by the weather office but nothing happened still now. No prediction of monsoon arrival which is already late.

Last Sunday Prime minister Narendra Modi took oath for third time in presence of Present of India and other country head , delegates of Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka, Bhutan, and some other neighbouring countries.

In our locality Arya Samiti also celebrated Kabiguru and Bidrohi Najrul birthday as their year long centenary celebrations.

There were opening speech by the Guest in charge and chief guest. One song was sang by one good artist. Another child recited a poem by Kaji Najrul Islam. A beautiful dance drama also held.

There was a special Kalipuja called Phalahari Kalipuja in almost all nearby temple. Those who have permanent statue the decorated the idol with ornaments and Banarasi saree. Some of the temples bought clay idol and immersed in the local pond on same night.

This is very important day for devotees of Sri Ramakrishna on this auspicious day he worshipped his wife as Shodashi that is Tripura Sundari ( girls upto age of 16 are worshipped as Kumari after this incident).

At Belur Math head quarter of Shri Ramkrishna Mission and Ashram established by Swami Vivekananda, 35 Bramhachari become priest on the Phalahari Kalipuja day. Two of them are from France and Australia, rest of them were indian.

Seven of them were doctor, six of them were Engineer, two of them were chartered accountant. Rest of twenty people were either post graduate or graduate.
