WHAT WERE YOU TOLD STEEMIT IS, AN ONLINE BUSINESS, A SOCIAL MEDIA OR A WRITING PLATFORM?

On the first day I heard of steemit I was really excited and thrilled to join the platform. Here are the following things that moved me to join the steemit platform without hesitating:

• When I heard of how I can meet with professionals and can actually learn a lot from them without even paying for a token, I was moved to join the platform.

• When I heard of writing contents, wow! this really moved me to join, because writing has always been my hobbies, I love writings so much, I have to join in order to meet up the writing and also become professional content writer as my goal.

• When I heard of how I can even earn from my writing, wow! Another fantastic reason I was moved join steemit in other to also add to my financial stability in this present era of Nigeria economic.

• I also heard about steemit being a social platform, this also added to the reason of my joining steemit, because is always my pleasure engaging in social media platform where I can see and hear what the latest updates.

What do you tell others steemit is? And are you really convinced steemit won't wrap up like other online businesses someday?

I do tell people steemit is a special legit online social media platform that perform extra things more than an ordinary centralized platforms, like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc. telling them steemit will even pay them for their good and quality content writing post, their quality comments also can be rewarded. Telling people they can learn new things differently in steemit from professionals and can also add value to themselves and others by their engagement in this wonderful platform so called steemit. Telling them that steemit actually needs their engagement, consistency, ready-to-learn, and most important need them to follow the rules and regulations of the platform in order to complete the contents like Plagiarism, Abuse, Spam and many other content principles.

And I am really convinced that steemit won't wrap up like other online businesses someday,because steemit ways of earning is legit, by creating and knowledge people earn by their effort and because steemit points system is blockchain-based, the points can be traded on markets as tokens. People buy and sell steemit tokens, and many hold in anticipation of increased purchasing power for various Steem-related services, with this it is a circle of earning and it will not just wrap up like other online businesses someday.

Is steemit an online business? If yes, what similarities and differences are there between steemit and other platforms. If no, give reasons, similarities and differences from other platforms

On my own point of view Steemit is an online business platform that people earn by engaging in quality actions like posting good content writing, comments, upvote, resteem and many more actions to earn.

There are other platforms that looks likely to Steemit but most of them have differences between each other. Steemit is a platform whereby people improve their writing abilities,which may concern their daily activity, to connect with professionals in other to learn from them, to provide much exposure to people who are passionate in created good and quality content but lacked the opportunity to do so, Steemit also rewards even at the point of learning from the platform, even those who are professionals, the most exciting thing is Steemit doesn't require any qualifications to earn, doesn't require gender, tradition or custom, age, etc but rather Steemit help those who are ready and stick to the activities consistently to learn and discover more on the platform freely, while most likely platforms always requires payment subscription before becoming a member, requires certain qualified people, certain traditions, and will also need more requirements before they qualify an individual to start earning on their platform which is absolutely different from Steemit platform. Always voting Steemit the best platform ever for content writers.

State 3 similarities and differences between steemit and any social media platform of your choice

In the case of LinkedIn platform and Steemit platform here are the similarities and differences between the both platforms

The three (3) similarities are;

• Posting of meaningful and quality content is what LinkedIn platform is allowed to perform and Steemit platform also do same

• Reading through others post and freely replying(comments) to them is what LinkedIn platform is also allowed to perform likewise Steemit platform

• Managing of personal information and profile is also another similarity between Steemit and LinkedIn platform.

The three (3) differences are;

• Steemit rewards their curator and creators for their good and quality content post while LinkedIn platform doesn't.

• Steemit reaches audiences beyond the world of crypto while LinkedIn doesn't

• Steemit is a Blockchain block while LinkedIn is not.

Steemit is a blockchain-based blogging and decentralized social media website. Whereby users can be rewarded with a cryptocurrency like STEEM, for creating and curating content
