My Diary for the Day

It's the 7th day of August and has uniquely been Sunday, a special day of worship for some of us in the Christian belief. I woke up around 6:00 am and that was when my alarm sounded, I wasn't opportune before the notification from the alarm because I had just slept in the mid of the night. I had my silent time observed and got my bathing water set on the gas cooker.

I was ready to leave the house around 7:30 am while the service is starting at 7:45 am. Considering the distance from my place to the church, undoubtedly, I am a bit late. I stepped out and utilized a commercial motorbike for my transportation down to the church and that cost me 200 NGN (1.2 STEEM) after a few minutes of negotiation with the biker.

I was able to make it to the church at 7:50 am and I joined the congregation. When it was time to hear the sermon for the day, the preacher have chosen the topic, "God Search for the Faithful". It was quite a great topic which teaches that reaching a stage of been faithful such person must have been qualified in the order; Believer, Disciple, Steward and finally Faithful. We were made to understand that a few persons can be disciples and not ready to do the job. I have learned more on the need for one to be truly committed to whatever we are engage in.

The teaching was backed with some scriptural verses, the service ended at 9:30 am while I moved to my Sunday school class where another fascinating topic was discussed, "A New Home". The class ended at 10:20 am and I left the church premises.

There is still fuel scarcity in town and with an irregular power supply, I have to get some fuel for my power generator such that I can be able to charge my devices and supply light for the house. I branched at one of my regular petrol stations, NIPCO and there was a long queue at the place.

It took me some minutes before I was able to get some fuel into the container I had carried with me while leaving the house earlier. I purchased yet again 800 NGN (4.8 STEEM) worth of petrol as my container can only contain an amount within 800 NGN to 850 NGN. To avoid spilling, I had chosen to buy just 800 NGN worth of petrol. I have captured the pump section with some bikes and those who came with containers just like me.

You can see how crowded it was in one of the picture above. I got home around 11:26 am and this time I used a public bus for my transportation. I found my way into the kitchen and made rice for my breakfast. After breakfast (ate at noon 😊), I started collecting the data of some of my activities over the week to give an adequate weekly report. This continued for a few hours while I began writing my weekly report as a CR too.

I have been having feverish feelings since, this was noticed in the morning and I stepped out to get oranges at a nearby fruit vendor's place. In the process, I responded to a few calls on Steemit addressing some cases. Around 8 pm, I headed to the crypto academy where I reviewed a few entries in the contest before I continued writing my report.

I took a break to have bread and fried eggs as my dinner. After dinner, I fine-tuned my report and spent some time engaging some articles published by some Nigerians across a few communities. I have my weekly report published around 10:30 pm and after that I spent some time reading articles and when it was a few minutes to midnight, I left all behind for the day.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it was quite a stressful day for me which had me start working from noon till late at night with a few breaks along the line, nevertheless, I have a great time that I was able to fulfill what are required of me, timely. This is all about how I spent the 7th day of August, 2022 and I hope you enjoyed reading from me today. I appreciate the time spared to read through today. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your dairy with us. Indeed God searches for the faithful. I like the topic that's preached... There's need for faithful men and women, people whose words will match up with their actions.

One of the things I also enjoy doing is to attend Sunday School. You will learn practical experience from brethren. It's quite interesting. That topic, "A New Home" talks about the New Jerusalem where everyone who conquers will dwell.

Kind regards!

I appreciate the time spared to relate with my article today, @msquaretk. You have adequately related to the sermon and most importantly, you have perfectly captured the Sunday lesson. It's easy to identify Sunday school students 😆. Thanks once again, bro.

Indeed you really organized your activities very well and I love the fact that you first acknowledge the present of God before starting other activities like going to the fuel station and reviewing your Steemit activities for that day. I wish you more Grace ahead.

Thanks for your time on this, @josepha. God over everything, it all starts from there and other things can follow. I appreciate the wishes. I hope you are doing great today, brother. #Steem-on.

Another very good diarygame my dear sir in which you explain your all activities like collecting the data for CR report and reviewing articles etc. Thank you for sharing with me and other steemians.

It's a great pleasure to have you around today, @malikusman1. It was a day filled with lots of events and I enjoyed every bit of them. Thanks for sparing some time to check on my article today.

Fuel scarcity still hitting deep in most part of the country, things are not getting any easier as well.

Your diary post are always top-notch my friend, I wish you a good day ahead.

The case of fuel scarcity is one of the recent problems being faced by Nigerians at this moment and only a few stations that open their doors for operation sell at a high price.

Thanks for appreciating this piece from me, @badmus-official.

It's always good to relate how ones day was spent, it can be used as a reference point sometimes in the future.

Startting from attending your religious program...down to getting petrol and preparing food for yourself, those were all great activities...worth writing about.

Hopefully the fuel scarcity would be solve soon, i guess.

I have utilized my Steemit account to retrieve some important details about certain activities documented in my diary game articles before, you have a very valid point up there.

It's not convenient buying petrol at a higher price than it used to be. I hope the scarcity is taken care of sooner. Thanks for visiting my article, @ubongudofot.
