The Day's Diary
It's Sunday and as a person of the Christian faith, I attend worship service on this day, congregating together to give thanks to God for all He has done and committing the coming weeks into his hands, it's always a beautiful time to share in His presence.
Services in my church have always been in two sessions, the first one in English language and the second, Yoruba language, only for a few exceptions would we have a combined service (important events like conference, thanksgiving Sundays, last Sundays of the month) and others. For the day, I stepped out of the house for the Sunday service.
The topic of discussion for the day was Time to Think Rightly, the pastor preached about how times of tribulations can be a time to think about solutions that would liberate one and eventually make one's life better. It was a long sermon that was supported by some scriptural verses. After the service ended, I also attended an hour of Sunday school before leaving the church premises.
On arrival at home, I took care of a few basic things, and at noon, I navigated my browser to the Steem4Nigeria community where I verified a few entries then to the Academy where I verified entries that were made in the ongoing engagement challenge in our community. There is a plan for a charity visit today.
When 17:00 was approaching, I stepped out to the superstore to get a few things that would be taken to the Little Angels of Fatima orphanage home. I got stuff like tissue papers, detergents, bathing soup, and diapers which I believed would go a long way to contribute to the welfare of the orphans. This is the location of the Superstore via What3words.

Outside the Mall

I left the mall to the orphanage home, Little Angels of Fatima which is an arm of the Our Lady Of Fatima Catholic Hospital, Osogbo and this is the location of the place via What3words.

The Hospital's Entrance
Inside the orphanage home, I met a few of the workers who attended to me while I dropped the stuff in their hands. I couldn't take the pictures of the kids because the organization said they protect the privacy of the children in the orphanage as such the images below don't clearly show the kids' faces.

From the images captured above, I realized the beds being used at the orphanage at the moment were donated by the association of the State's indigenes in the US. Before I left the orphanage, the workers also gave me a list of their needs at the center and an appreciation letter.

It was late before I got home, yeah, that was around some minutes past 19:00. I had my shower, made my dinner, curated a few articles with my account, and watched some football highlights before I called it a day.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it was a great day that started with the Sunday service with an important message that has a great correlation with a time like this and my charity trip was a great one. At the end of the day, I looked back and said to myself "it was a fulfilled day". Thanks for reading through today and I hope you had a great time around here.

Brother, I am moved by charitable works.. It is God Almighty who will bless you for remembering the needy in your little way.. God bless you.
I consider this a necessary work for humanity. It could have been done without letting anyone know, that our good deeds can be done privately but for the fact that it's a project aimed to also spread Steemit's name, I deem it fit to put it into writing. Thanks for your time, @sahmie.

You keep doing this, the sky is not your limit brother, far greater things to come.
Behold your sacrifices to the needs, you shall be rewarded too, I wish all the luck bro.
Thanks for your wishes, @badmus-official. Your meaningful interaction is highly appreciated, man. #steem-on.
I can imagine the joy felt this time.
Blessed is the hand that giveth.
I haven't been to the orphanage home before, hoping to be one day
None was brought into the world and nothing would go with us. Giving in our little ways writes an amazing story in the hearts of the needy. I hope you find it interesting to give to them wherever you eventually have the opportunity to visit one. Thanks for your time on this, @barnbarnabie.
Honestly I love the Charity works you have started I most say. I wish you more wins to do more greater works.
Thank you, @josepha. We can always do the little can to effect that change we wanna see in the world.
