Introduction
Greetings to all members of the community @steem4nigeria and the entire Steem populace and I believe my writing is meeting you in a very good state of health. About a week ago, this new community was launched and I must say the level of adoption has been great so far, thanks to every member that are making this a reality.
Within that short time, there has been a lot of activities happening around here, contests, diary posts, daily articles, and so on. With this article today, I will be hosting a contest titled Steem4Nigeria Fan Base. What does this stand for? You will get to know as we proceed.

Steem4Nigeria Fan Base
In one of my recent articles, I spoke at length on how important it is to engage with others meaningfully on the Steem blockchain and not act as if the chain is business as usual. In the quest to achieve this to some extent, we want an avenue where users would be brought together under one roof and have meaningful discussions with each other.
Bringing users together under one roof enables each to share important topics, ideas, opinions, and so on. In that case, interpersonal relationships amongst members would be enhanced and many would have the opportunity to learn new things from their Steem friends. Sounds cool, right? Let's discuss how it works.
How Steem4Nigeria Fan Base Contest works
- In the comment section of this post, users are required to post a topic and a brief opinion about it. For example,
Topic: How can we bridge the gap between the rich and poor?The world is filled with different people with different financial statuses and sometimes, this makes life more comfortable for the rich and he appear to be superior to the other when important things like projects are considered... Only if the rich can have a kind heart to support the poor near him, the world would be a better place... I invite others to share their own opinion on this context.
- Having created the topic, users would find the most interesting one for them and share their meaningful opinion on it.
- And with this both the creator and other users would have something to share and learn at the end of the day.
Guidelines
- Intending contestants are required to drop a topic under the comment section, and write briefly about it (at least 100 words) like I have shown in the example above.
- Three (3) topics would be considered, ideally the first three genuine topics.
- Users would drop suitable comments under the topic with at least 50 words and interact with others' comments under the same topic. Note that: One topic per user for engagement, be sure that you are entering a topic that interests you, you won't be eligible to join another discussion after you have joined one.
- Activities would be tracked over time. The contest runs for 3 days. Important Notice: Participants must be subscribers of Steem4Nigeria.
Reward Distribution
- Users with the Topics authorized gets 1 Steem each.
- In the order of top meaning engagements, 3 STEEM, 2 STEEM, and 1 STEEM would be won by the topic's creators.
- Users that has dropped meaningful comments under the topics would get 0.5 STEEM each.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this contest aim to teach users how important engagement is on the Steem blockchain, and in that process, they would learn from others that would be sharing reasonable opinions, and they also stand the chance to win Steem rewards for their involvement. RELATIONSHIP: FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.
When I think about relationships, so many aspects of it comes to my mind...not just families related by blood; it covers a whole sphere of influence... friends inclusive.
I believe we are not just family or in relationship by asking or sending money. To me, it means more than financial gains...

Why I mentioned this👆 last is because some think themselves 'demigods' when they extend a helping hand to a family member or friend.
Yes, some can be 'wonderful' but you that need help, don't think every help to you is a way of mocking your situation.

For one thing, I believe that every relationship should be built on love. Simply having love for these ones will help us to naturally display all of the things you mentioned that relationship means.
Our family is the most important asset in our life and everything we do should be centered on our love for them. Family does not only involve our close relatives, a total stranger can become a family to you. It's all about Love ♥️

Topic: Does amenities drive capital growth and if yes, which ones?
When opening a business the saying is to look out for, “location… location… location.
When buying a property the saying for me is to look out for “amenities… amenities…amenities”.
My answer is thus, YES. Amenities plays a huge role determining the property market of an area and the demand thereof.
Under amenities I will count, good schools, hospitals or clinics and supermarkets. I do however believe that there are some amenities which are less important to drive capital growth like golf courses and walking parks.
Kindly share your opinion or opinions on amenities and capital growth.

When purchasing a property, such as a house, I feel that one should take into consideration some basic amenities that should be available such as a nearby market, access to clean water and so on. Having these things and making sure they are close by will help us to save much capital because we would not need to be traveling to a far distance to be getting the things we need.

Yes, is my answer also. Gated communities is not an amenity for me. What you can add to the list is amenities like libraries and recreation areas

Some people you meet in life are meant to teach you, while others will find value in you and see what’s inside you, but don’t quit, those who failed to acknowledge you may not always be better than you, trust me when I say this.
Maybe it’s just that they first began, anyways the end justifies it all. Money and fame, levels and what so ever you may have today were given to you, but anyway, I should say it’s a matter of the wants and don’t want, some people are good while some think that being mean in life and showing I don’t care attitude is what life is all about, we are all DUST, and when your gone, you won’t be remembered because you have money, all your pride and class ends here.
But that’s when whom you were truly set in. Try as much as you can to change a life, 100yrs from now we all won’t be here and if we are, we can hardly bite some meat, so why don’t we listen to the voice of those who seek help and reach out.
If you are somewhere struggling. I encourage you don’t stop until you’ve done all you can, seek avenues to connect, don’t back off, it’s a death trap, LEARN AND MOVE ON. But I must warn you, THIS WON'T BE EASY. What's your take on this?
I do believe that so often we are too scared to "take the bull by the horns"and live to the fullest just because we value too much about what other people would say.

However, others who failed to follow such a bad course also have their great benefits, little wonder then why folks still count them as a blessing even when they died. Man should never be proud for any reason, is it because of money? Did he give life to himself. Pride will only lead to a crash. Why should we think that we are better than others because of the seeming privilege tht we have..?
Surely, Man should learn a lesson to always be humble so that he can learn new things and also help others to learn as well.
