Important lessons I Learnt this year,2023

Hello friends, self evaluation is something we all must take into serious consideration. This is because at times we might think that we are on the right track not knowing that we are just wasting our time. Below is my take on the subject matter;.

Self evaluation at every year end is a yes for me, though it's mine opinion but I think it is the right thing every right thinking human should do.

In justifying my yes for an answer to self evaluation,I have these to say.

When we fail to self evaluate ourselves,we tend not to know what we have achieved so far and the area's we are lacking behind that needs improvement. Yes self evaluation at every year end is good but for me,I do it once in three months.

I tend to take a step back to know why Something's worked for me and the reasons behind failures encountered. With this my self assessment,I will be able to ascertain where I am lacking behind and sincerely speaking,it have been helping me alot in this journey of life.

What where the events and circumstances that taught you big lessons.

Wow,you know in life, everyday that passes by, we learn new lessons either the hard way or otherwise but we learn everyday.
I have series of events that taught me big lessons in life. To start with, I am this type of person that doesn't let opportunity pass me by,I take my chances.

So it happened that, while I was still an undergraduate,I came across a profession which to me seemed lucrative but how do I combine schooling and working knowing that you can't serve two masters at a time. Some may say that it's possible to school and work,yes it's but what type of work are you doing while schooling?I bet is not my kind of work, mine was time demanding.

It got to a point that while schooling and working,I noticed that I am no longer doing well in my academics. One day I called my self a meeting (self evaluation) after muchll evaluation,I got to an understanding that I am paying much attention to one thing than the main thing that brought me to where I was. I had to retrace my footsteps thereby creating a timetable for myself the days I am to go for work and school.

The big lesson here is that; it's not possible to serve two masters at a time because you might end up not achieving any. But I thank God I managed to come out of it.✍️✍️.

Do you think you have really learnt from those events and happenings,if yes tell us what you learnt and how it can be useful for next year.

Life is u just simple if we learn to live by the rules. From what I experienced back in school,I must say that I learnt from it.
Most times we tend to chase shadows forgetting the real thing we ought to go after and in the end,we might not even achieve any.

So left for me I would say that,I would set a priority and work towards achieving it and on the long run,I will pulse once in a while to know if I am still in line or I have derailed.
