SEC15 WK1 : "Life on Social Media"

Hello friends I welcome you all to the SEC -S15W1 in this great community and I welcome you all heartily to my first blog in the great challenge. It's been a long at up to this point and here is my active participation.

Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time.

The social media is a different space altogether, it's so crucial to note that our lives must not be made public as it comes with lots of risks. Most people get tracked by criminals through their social media platform, exposing their location in some cases is bad, therefore in my opinion, daily life should not always be put on social media all the time.

Furthermore, your wins, goals achieved and iconic moments are best to be put on social media. It should not be a habitual act as if should be carried out once in a while, when you feel the nudge to celebrate wins and achievement made, marking a milestone in your life.

Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effect turned out well?

Showcasing your life on social media comes with various challenges, most times the audience on social media shows you negative vibes, you could make a post on the social media today and all of a sudden negative comments starts rolling, saying all kinds of things on your post, it could be depressing and painful at the same time.

However, it occurs at rare occasion where someone shows his life on social media and it turned out well. Some months back a random person posted on twitter how much he needed a laptop to start up online sales on online sales, sharing how much Important it was to him.

Gratefully, he got gifted the sum of 150,000 about 500 Steem to strat up with the laptop and have a good life there after. It was big news but these are rare occasions where it all turns out such great, it's a rare occurrence and most times it doesn't come so was on a platter but that was a lucky one for the guy.

Do you think all they showcase on social media is true?

Growing up we got entangled in the euphoria of social media, we would always want positive recommendation from people. We always want to live big and show the world, this makes us go to any length to impress our fans.

Interestingly, I could recall my friend last year coming to get my Nike shoes for a social media reel shoot, asking me too for my iPhone 11 too to get good pictures just go impress his audience and flood the gram. Most lives on social media is fake life, they live to impress and this is truly tiring which taught me a lesson today. Most people rent cars, borrow accessories just to stir a boom or trend on social media some of it is a mirage and not all you see on social media is true.

Steemit is a safe haven! The platform has been on and running by my count over 5 years and counting. The fidelity of the platform is well matched no form of risks and high rewards when you do the right things by posting the right contents and maintaning a good club status, while engaging and supporting others bloggers.

We see various nations represented here, we rub minds and leave new things, each and every day on the platform we share our lifestyle and activities, rejoicing in our wins too. We earn on the platform and make great fortune from the platform. Steemit had saved me financially and I'll be forever grateful for joining the great platform

Conclusion

Social media could be a place to share wins and achievement. The social media could cause you pain or most times comments on your posts could be aggreviating, thus in all moderation be key to posting on social media, remember all that glitters is not gold!
