SEC15 WK1: "Life on Social Media"

Greetings Everyone! I am Asad Fazal from Pakistan. I hope everyone here is doing well and enjoying their life with family and friends. Today I'm here to take part in the SEC Season15 Week1 challenge. The topic of the challenge decided by the community team is "Life on Social Media". So let's start.
Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time? |

My simple answer is No and you can see clearly on my Steemit as well all social profiles that I don't put my daily life activities on social media. I also try to do less Diary games because I don't feel comfortable posting everything I do regularly.
Yes it is one self decision and there are people who love to share their daily life on social platforms like Instagram and Facebook. But I am not one of them and keep my life to me and my family friends only. There are many disadvantages of it. Let me share one quick here.
You all must have heared about AI (DeepFake) and how people are using it. Mostly girls are falling victim of it because they love to share their pics on social media and daily life. The scammers and other evil people use their photos and make it naked or do something else and then charge them for removal.
Moreover, therer are many other disadvantages that we can clearly see on Tiktok that people are wasting their time and this generation is moving towards it's horrible end. So my answer here is NO.
Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effects turned out well? |

Yes I have seen some people who spend their life on social platforms and it is like their food is social media. They can't live without it and it has impacted negatively on their life. Here it is asked that it turned out well so yes I have seen those cases as well.
In my country, some people recorded a prank or crazy activities and then upload it on Tiktok and within few days they become popular because their video get viral in the country. After that they started making more videos and now they are earning well.
But as a Muslim, I am against this because listening to music and performing harmful activities just to earn money is not legit. Not only for girls but for boys we can't do such activities if we are Muslim. Rest is their own choice and they may know better than me.
Do you think all the showcase on social media are true? |

No never believe what you see on social media. The reason is people are not like what they show you on social media. They hide themselves and show only their good face there. I have personally seen and talked to people who were different on social media and in reality they were different in behaviour.
People try to show smart, rich, and of high-standards on social media but in reality they are totally different. A good person is who never try to show himself/herself of high-standards and rich. They will live a peaceful and happy life both on social media and in reality.

Steemit is a good platform that is decentralized so it is not easy to get hacked. But the images we share can be downloaded easily and can be used against us. It all depends on us that how we use it and what images and our life memories we share here.
I have seen a movie of which I don't remember name now. In that movie, hacker find the persons all details from their social media platforms. They get ID card, credit card, photo, and other useful things from pictures and videos shared on social platforms.
So in my view, nothing is safe even Steemit in terms of photos sharing. Because there is no such thing that can protect our photos here as well. All we can do is to carefully share what is not important to us if it being used. Just like invest what you can afford to lose in crypto.

It's so true that our safety is guaranteed, when we post less and stay safe from social media, you shared your disdain for posting your personal details on the social media stressing it causes the individual to be prone to danger. The AI could alter your pictures and use it as blackmail against you. You shared how you love the Steemit but the security on your phones are not assured here too. Thank you dear friend for reading my content and sharing your view. Yes nothing is safe on the internet. There is always a risk of hacking, scamming, blackmailing, and misuse. So in my view we should not upload our personal life on social media.
