I agree with you that the couple must reach sufficient maturity to commit and get married.

The educational, economic, social and cultural level of the couple facilitates their acceptance and that of their family environment. When there are very strong distances, things become complicated for the couple because of the cultural influence of their environment.

I don't believe in a flash engagement that lasts a week, the only thing that remains from the rush is tiredness.

Things can change during the engagement when one of the parties is not sincere, honest, responsible, considerate, tolerant, etc. There must be seriousness in all aspects because you want to get to the marriage safely and happily.

The engagement is not a guarantee, it is not a piece of paper or a document from an insurance company. There is nothing safe in this life, where each head is a world of its own.
