The Diary Game || 12-04-24 || Keeping Fit With Steemians, Signing up a user and Mentoring Steemians
It was another Friday to workout with some steemians. The STAY FIT TEAM is a team organised by @ngoenyi on fitness and workouts. This included those who wanted removing body fats, abs and energy to maintain stamina. The team was already formed and anyone who has interest in joining can do so.
This programme was organised to encourage many youths and aged ones see the importance of exercising. My first experience in this training kept me away for almost a week because I felt pains that were incurable. The first time, day, week or month to everything new is always hard but consistently doing that thing with do much passion and zeal will make you overcome whatever negative thoughts you had which must have included quitting.
It is more like steemit. It is always discouraging not seeing votes on your posts especially ones you took time to write but consistency can. It may be the hidden driver to your success. I did a lot of stressful work that day that deprived me of my sleep. So this is how my day went.
Morning Activities |
---|
Waking up early is what I've been very much accustomed to because I don't even get enough sleep because of a lot of important things which to me works best at night. I took to getting up from my bed and prepared to go for workout. The days for these workouts are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It was a Friday.
I didn't hesitate to go with my phone as it's my only source of motivation. The weather was just so Clement and the breeze surpassing was good enough for meditation and intake. It was more than filtered air. I did jogging to the place and used some time to take in the natural breath from the green grass there. This may sound absurd but to be frank, there's more to the morning breeze on a green grass than you could ever think of. It helps in brain development, nasal health and breathing.

After doing this for some minutes, my fitness coach @ngoenyi came on board with objects that would make this fitness exercise possible. Though the weather was very discouraging, she still turned on. She brought the following to enhance this fitness....
Fitness board | |
---|---|
Dumbbells made with stone | |
Music box for motivation | |
And the tire that was already there | |
Water bottle |
We were very much ready to train with her. The weather was a very good one. It wasn't raining and the breeze was just so sufficient. Guess what? I was hyperactive that morning due to the meditation I did with the green field. Last experience in the training was horrible as I couldn't do a lot of things perfectly but that day was different. I got drives. Check the forms we did.
Cross legs touch |
---|
This was done by sitting on the fitness board and our legs were stretched out forward. With the song played, we followed the rhythm and then took our legs up and touched it with our hands in a cross section i.e Left hand for right leg and right leg for left hand. Our coach did this first to show us how it's done so as to follow suit. These are pictures of the first form done.
Press Up - Dumbbell Lift |
---|
After completing the first form on the board, we took to doing the second which involve using the stretching our legs with our hands on the board as support, then a dumbbell would be our sides to be lifted up and down. We were to do this consistently, 50 times. This was form was a tough one though. I could feel the pain in my arms and waist. Through endurance, I had to complete my rounds. Our mentor did it first as usual. She did this form more like an expert and faster.
We followed suite. We were about 5. Since we had just three boards, we took rounds into doing this particular form though it was stressful. I did 100 rounds no doubt. Like I said, I was more energised than last time. I felt the strength from the meditation I did that morning.

Stretch Lifts |
---|
This was done by sitting on the board and then stretching our legs forward. We were to follow the rhythm of a song in lifting our legs up. We started with lifting the right and then the left. It was the most strenuous exercise I ever done. I felt the pain on my laps. I just had to endure. These are pictures of how we did this. Our fitness coach did it first of which we followed suite.
To those women, it was kinda stressful as they found it difficult to lift their legs up high but after the first trial, they got perfect at it.
Dumbbell stretches |
---|
This was done by sitting on the board, spread our legs wide open, lift the dumbbell and then take it to the tip of one leg, bring it back to ourselves and then take it to the tip of the other leg. We did this 50 times before taking to doing other things. This is a picture of the coach trying to show her trainee how to carry this out.
These are pictures of how we did this. The pain was to be felt at our backs and legs of which I personally felt the pain. It wasn't that easy to reach the toe.
We did many more exercises before leaving the arena. It was the best I've ever had. I didn't really feel the pain like the other day. I went home and thought of creating a content on forgiveness. So I wanted being original that's why I requested my neighbours be models as I capture them. These are pictures of the creativity I did for that content.
Afternoon Activities |
---|
I was damn hungry when I returned. After cleaning myself, I took to purchasing a fruit coconut from a hawker. I was after the water from the coconut as it helps in brains development. I took a steady sip of it before thinking of eating my breakfast.
Time ran so fast that I started thinking what I did that day. I felt I did nothing and was angry with myself at some point. I took to mentoring steemians in my Mentorship group that afternoon before taking to writing ab academic project. There was virtually no time to lay my head.
In the evening, I continued the Mentorship till morning. This time, I gave them an assignment of which they were to submit the next day. The assignment was to track how well they were able to apply the markdown styles taught. I also signed up a user on steemit who's yet to do his achievement post. His username is @lamber23

I thought i was the only person feeling the pains all over my body, mostly in my joints. You did more than expected, even the team are proud of you. You really enjoyed yourself after the exercise, you meal looks yummy, i would love to get a taste please 😋. Remember what the coach said, "don't stay back because of the pains you felt, because that will only worsen it". I didn't see you today, I'm hoping to see you on Wednesday. Have a nice day.
Expect me. Something came up today
