Wisdom Comes with Age
Ouh My Goodness, People often say this, "Wisdom comes with age," but is this really true? Steemians Does getting older automatically make someone wise, or can a young person too also be wise? Anyways we'll get to know more about that. First let me Acknowledge @eveetim for bringing this contest for us to explore ideas together.

What Do You Understand by the Word Wisdom?
Wisdom to my opinion is more than just knowing things, it is more of the ability to use knowledge and experience to make good decisions. A wise person will understands life, learns from mistakes, and therefore applies knowledge in ways that help them and others. Wisdom is more different from intelligence, it’s definitely not just about how smart we are but more of how well we handle life’s situations anytime any day.
Do You Think Great Wisdom Comes with Age, or Can Anyone Possess It?
Dearest! It is very true that experience teaches us a lot, and so the older people have lived through many situations in life that help them understand life better than the younger ones. But However, wisdom is definitely not only about the age.
- The Young people who are more thoughtful, observant, and always willing to learn from others can also be very wise. Some of today's children surprises adults with their deep understanding of the situations. Wisdom is more about learning, reflecting, and making good choices when needed, things that anyone, regardless of the age, can develop in life.
If Wisdom Should Come with Age, Do You Agree That All Elders Are Wise?
Not necessarily. While many of our elders are wise because of their experiences growing up, I'll love to add that not all older people make a wise decisions in life. Some people will grow older but all keeps repeating the same mistakes, refusing to learn from the previous. So I guarantee that Age alone does not decides wisdom. What truly matters more is how someone learns from life and certainly applies their experiences in meaningful ways to get better and improvement.
What Is Your Personal Understanding of Elders Possessing Wisdom?
The Elders who are wise often share a very much valuable lessons from their experiences. They have seen life from many different angles and can always offer guidance. However, I still strongly believe that wisdom is not something every older person automatically has, but it must be gained through learning, reflection, and growth. A young person it's is possible to also be wise if they listen, observe, and make thoughtful decisions.
- I'll love to use this Real-Life Scenario: Wisdom vs. Age to finalize my thoughts
There's this young boy named David and his grandfather. David once saw his closed friends stealing from a shop and so he refused to join him because he knew it was wrong even after the friend was talking to him and begging to join. His grandfather here who had experienced this similar temptations in his youth, also warned
him specifically about the long-term consequences of stealing. Here, both David and his dear grandfather showed wisdom. David by making a very good choice despite his young age, and his grandfather by using his past experiences to guide him helps better in his decision making and even in the future.

While though age can bring wisdom, no doubt about that but it is not the only factor here. Wisdom always comes from learning, thinking, and making good choices. A young person can be very wise, just as an older person too can lack wisdom. The key 🗝️ here is to always seek that knowledge, reflect on experiences, and always strive to make better decisions every day.
So @berda01, @eliany and @sahmie what are you thoughts 💭 in this topic. Let's hear a better opinion 😉.
