Today I am writing about an interesting and knowledgeable contest which is launched by @steem4nigeria all time my favourite topic "Parental Enforcement of Decisions on Children" So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic
Do you think it is okay for parents to influence the decisions of their children? |

When we take any decision related to our life in our family, we definitely discuss it in the family before taking it. Because it is wise to move forward only after thinking about every aspect. Parents also discuss the decision with their children in the same way. Because somewhere they feel that children lack experience at social level or according to age.
But this does not happen always, some children become very wise before their age and every child is not the same. Therefore, before influencing the decision of children, parents should pay attention to every aspect of it. Because parents are the guides of children. When they make a mistake, parents will stop them. Because sometimes children's decisions are taken in a hurry or they take them by imitating others.
During the time of marriage or when deciding a course to study in school, what is the place of parents in giving their children guidance? |

At the time of marriage or while deciding the course of study in school, parents have an important role in guiding children. Because parents are not enemies of children, they always want the best for their children. Every parent's life revolves around their children. Parents explain the values of life to their children based on their experience.
Parents guide their children at every step and if the bonding between parents and children is good, they share things with each other. Today I am also a mother of two children, by the grace of God, I do not hide anything from my children and children do not hide anything from me and whenever the children need it, I give my opinion and whenever I need the children's opinion on any topic, I also ask for it from the children. That is why parents are the best guides for their children.

Actually, sometimes parents explain so much that the child gets misguided in taking decisions. Many side doubts arise in him, but parents also help the child in taking decisions. Sometimes the children themselves are unable to understand what they want. Because every parent knows the qualities of their children and they know how much hard work their child can do or what he is inclined towards. But sometimes, due to friendship, the child chooses the wrong subject or the wrong goal, then the parents have to explain to him that he does not have to face defeat later and his courage does not break.

No, my parents never imposed their experience on me. We used to discuss everything, similarly, I also discuss with my children before taking any decision. Children express their feelings openly and tell their inclination, so whatever things come under that inclination, both of us husband and wife tell our children.
Parents who impose their views and decisions on their children, then the chances of children being successful are a little less there. Because if the work is not done from the heart, is done out of fear, then the child is not able to give his hundred percent even if he wants to. Therefore, it is very important to guide the children and it is also important to read the hearts of the children. The aim should be that our child achieves success for every parent. Children should be brought up in such a way that they understand the feelings of their family, their parents and never shy away from working hard.

Nice write up, it's good to know that you also seek your children opinion while taking decisions, because that's how it originally supposed to be.
As a parent if you impose a decision on them it may ruin their life along the run, because children have their own mind and what they want for themselves.
