My opinion about the book “Maximizing Your potential”
Introduction/Theme
Who has potentials? You and I. Everyone is born full of potentials. There is nothing that we can’t do or achieve. It all boils down to us discovering who we are and what we can do to maximize our giftings and make a maximum impact in our society at large.
No one is born without potentials and we have the same timing but differences in background. Even if you came from the worst background, there’s no limit to what you can achieve if you only know how to maximize your potentials and die empty. That’s what this book gears at.
Let’s look at some truths from the pages of this great book.
Key points from the chapters
- Maximizing your potentials involves so many things. First would be to listen and learn from people who have gone ahead of us. Learning from people ahead of us would give us insight and understanding into discovering ourselves and what drives us.
Success does not come by accident. We have to be committed to be the best of us by strategic planning and setting goals and diligently following them to become the best of who we are. You have to be committed to growth. Your personal growth.
- When you have decided to be committed to your growth, you must embrace the journey to growth taking one step at a time and being able to stand even in the faces of rejection.
You must understand that the path to success is not easy and is often fraught with failures and rejection. Persistence and patience would have to come into play while you celebrate your little wins that brings you closer to your goal.
- You must increase your capacity to succeed by being resilient and maintaining an optimistic attitude. You must be committed totally to your goals and understanding the power of dedication cannot be over emphasized.
When you stay motivated and focused and become dedicated to what you do, it would help you to stand in the faces of difficulties and challenge.
No two humans beings are the same as no two finger prints are the same. Leveraging on your unique strengthens, skills and ability and being the best of you is a bottom line to maximizing your potential.
My rating of the book
You can be the best of who you were created to be. You can look within and maximize those beautiful potentials. Digging into this book would really be a great way to start if you are at a loss on how to.
I give this book a rating of 9/10. It was a great motivational book.
Conclusion
Don’t settle for less. Don’t be a mediocre when you can be outstanding and excellent. Discover you and maximize your potentials
