SEC15 WK1: "Life on Social Media"

Assalam O Alaikum

Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope that you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit engagement challenge season 15 Week 1 in the Steem4nigeria community. The topic of this challenge is "Life on Social Media". Do you support that our daily lives should be put up on social media all the time?

Friends as we all know that currently we are living in an era of social media and digital world where almost every one is suffering from the fever of social media and according to me it has been spread like a pandemic. Everyone wants to share their activities of daily lives on social media and want to become famous in no time and in this case they forget about the real aspects of life. So in this case I don't support that our daily lives activities should be uploaded on social media.

I don't support that because it can destroy the lives of people and their families. More ever in the craze of getting fame and becoming famous they forget what they are doing or saying on social media. Some days ago in my country Pakistan I was watching a video where a couple was discussing about their life and I thrilled to listen that the husband was talking about the pregnancy of his wife. I may be wrong but I don't think that kind a activities must be shared on social media.

This is because that type of things are the parts of our privacy so talking about our privacy on the social media and sharing it others is not a good thing. And according to me that type of weird activities are all against the spirits of social. We should share our activities on social media but we should never talk about our private life there. Because that type of things are good in privacy.

Have you ever experienced or seen any case where a person has the habit of showcasing his life on social media and the effects turned out well?

To be honest I have never experienced that kind a things but I have saw many people who has the habit of showcasing their lives on social media and the effects turned out well. In my country Pakistan there are many of YouTubers who publish vlogs on YouTube and through this they are earning a lot of income on daily basis. The vlog culture is quite famous in Pakistan and through this almost every vlogger has an habit of showcasing their private or personal lives on social media because without this they can't get success.

Ducky Bhai with 6.48M subscribers and sistrolgy with 3.55M subscribers

In this case I would like to talk about Ducky Bhai who is a famous YouTuber and the other one is Sistrlogy. The Sistrlogy is the name of a YouTube channel of five sisters who always seen showcasing their lives on social platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube as well. They always seen doing weird activities on the internet and I don't think why people like them. But anyways they are all very successful on YouTube and they are earning in millions.

Do you think all showcase on social media are true?

Not at all the showcase on social media can never be true as people use different tricks to showcase themselves in a better way on social media but on the other hand all the things are different. Many girls on social media use different types of filters to alter their appearances and through this they looks different and change their personalities and in reality they are very far from that kind a appearances and looks. So we should never believe what we see on social media.

In addition the good or bad people are present everywhere and we just have to recognize them. Because many people on social media spread wrong information or news about anything to get views on their contents but in reality their News and information are always fake. More ever many people in their videos shows that they are helping the poor people and proving them food and other things but in reality they do that just to get some views to promote themselves on social media.

Do you feel safe on Steemit with your information? What can you say about Steemit?

Personally I feel safe on Steemit and still I haven't seen any of case in which someone is playing with Steemit users i.e stealing their information and then blackmailing them through that information. As we all know that the Steemit is a decentralized social media platform which means that it is not only controlled by a single authority so I think there is no any chance of hacking the account of Steemit users.

More ever the abuse watcher or the team of greeters of Steemit are quite active and responsible with their responsibilities. Because the greetings do deep checking while verifying the new comers and if they find any one doubtful they ban him before verifying. More ever the team of abuse watchers are also keep on roaming through the different communities so that they can caught the suspicious users on the platform. So there is no chance for that kind a people to harm others.
