SEC WK2 : The language in my country

Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope that you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this Steemit engagement challenge season 15 week 2 in the Steem4nigeria community. The topic of this challenge is "The Language in my Country". So let's start without any more delay of time.

Friends let's talk about language, as we all know that the language plays a very important role in our lives because it is considered as a basic tool for communication. So through language we can understand and communicate with others and can understand that what they are trying to say. Now let's move towards the question, friends the name of my country is Pakistan which is an agricultural and industrial country and also it is considered as the most hospitable nation is the world.
In my country Pakistan there are different types of languages can be found. The national language of Pakistan us Urdu which is spoken and understood throughout the whole country. After Urdu the second most famous language in Pakistan is Punjabi which mostly spoken and understood in Punjab province which is the largest province of Pakistan. Besides them most of the languages are associated with the culture and traditions of different provinces and areas of Pakistan.
The reason is that the Pakistan is a multinational and multicultural country and people prefer to speak languages according to their cultures. So that is why more 80 languages can be found in my country Pakistan. The official languages of Pakistan are Urdu and English. But among all of them the most famous and widely spoken languages in Pakistan are given below.
- Punjabi
- Urdu
- Pashto
- Saraiki
- Balochi
- Hindko
- Pothwari
- Brahui
- English

Friends as in the above section I have discussed that the languages in Pakistan are associated with the provinces and I belong to Punjab province so in this province the most widely spoken language is Punjabi and Urdu. So I'm familiar with only three languages among all of them Punjabi, Urdu and English. This is because the Punjabi is my mother language which I have learned from my house as most of my family members speak Punjabi in my house.
After Punjab I'm also well familiar with Urdu and English languages which I have learned in the school life. The reason is that the syllabus in the schools, colleges and universities of Pakistan are in English and Urdu language so these both languages I have learned from there. In results I'm most familiar with these three languages only and I don't anything about the other languages which are spoken and understood in other regions of my country.
How has this language improved/helped your life and business? |

Yes these languages has helped me a lot in improving my life and in making a strong connection with people through communication. If I talk about my mother language Punjabi, so that was the language in which I uttered the first word when I started speaking in my childhood. After speaking Punjabi I started understanding and communicating with others in my house and with other people as well. After this when I entered in my school life there I leaned English and Urdu.

Learning these languages has helped me a lot in understanding my syllabus books and in talking with my friends and teachers as well. The Reason is that in Schools the syllabus are in both English and Urdu languages. So in results these three languages helped me to share my knowledge, thoughts and feeling with others and also improved my communication skills. Now I can say that these languages has changed me to a good citizen through effective communication with others.

Of course yes I'm willing to teach these languages to my children. The reason is that the language is a basic thing to communicate others so if we don't learn languages then how we understand others and communicate with them? In addition the syllabus books, knowledge books and religious books all are present in Urdu language so I will teach my children that language so they may read books and get all sort of knowledge to become a good citizen.

More ever I will also teach my children the English language because it is an international language and widely spoken and understood in the whole world. So after learning English language my children my not face any difficulties when they visit any foreign countries and do any business, online work and other things with the foreigners. So that is why I think that everyone should learn English language.

Language is an important subject which is involved in our every life, from your post I can know about the language of your country, your national language is Urdu, but fortunately I know about Urdu language, because I have studied with Urdu language. Pakistan is a large and multi-ethnic country. Of course in the country there are many languages spoken by the population and local people
