Hey @chriddi, how are you? How cool to find you here, I have not seen you on blurt anymore. Your post caught my attention, I have never been to a bee hive, in fact when I see a honeycomb I cross the street to not be around, hahaha .... They are beautiful insects and I love honey, but I am allergic to the sting of them. One sting and it's horrible on my body.

Hi @bessed-girl, nice to meet YOU here :-)) I thought you were only on Blurt.
I am no longer there at all. The service is not comfortable for me (honestly, I'm even a bit pissed that my pictures disappeared...), it's too much back and forth for me there. At first I tried to be on Blurt a bit, at least to see what my friends are up to. But then I put a lot of energy into building my community here on the Steem. I feel very comfortable with that and I'd like it to stay that way. My Blurt-Stake is in the Steem, here I still see potential for development.
In Venezuela, wild bee colonies are apparently much more widespread than here in Germany. I think, then I would also change the side of the road.
I've already gotten one sting in four weeks. But that's okay, the bees are welcome to continue living in our garden. They are good for nature, no, they are nature. With the "costume" I feel quite safe anyway - which doesn't mean I walk around in it all day.... ;-)

Bees are very beautiful insects, I have always liked them for their striped design and here where I live there are always in the gardens, and I think they are already used to people walking near them, however I do not pass near their hive.
In 2009 we had the opportunity to travel to Europe, we visited 5 countries (including Germany but we were only there for 24 hours) the first country we went to was Holland, and we visited Keukenhof park, the truth is one of the most wonderful memories that I have from that trip I would love to go back there, this time with my daughters ... and one of the things that surprised me was the size of the bees that were in that park, of course there with so many flowers hahaha, never in my life had I seen "so fat" bees, and I think they were also very used to people walking near them because we could take pictures of them.
