Steemit Engagement Challenge Season8 Week1: My learning during the pandemic.
Good day once again to everyone, my name is oluwatimileyin and I welcome you to a new season of engagement challenge.
I welcome you to my participation in the week 1 Engagement contest with the title: My learning during the pandemic.
The 2019 COVID pandemic really has a substantial effect on the world in ways anybody can never imagined possible. It made everything stagnant including our daily lives and normal routines, it changes the way we work, learn, interact, and the way we go about our daily business.
Despite these challenges , we have all learn valuable lessons from this experience and we have work our way to get over our daily activity in one way or the other, I will be glad to share my learning experience with you as well as the experience I gained from the pandemic.
The main lesson that I have learned from the pandemic is the importance of resilience and how to adapt to certain circumstances.
During the pandemic, the world was stagnant, daily businesses shut down, and people don't have any other choice other than to adapt to new ways of living and working, and making earnings for their family. which this mean we all have to find new solutions to the problems.
During the pandemic, I learn to explore new opportunities, find new ways of surviving and being open to explore several opportunities, it was doing this moment I adapt into working in a venture business with my boss and explore several knowledge without academics.
Glory be to God that my family and I are fortunate enough to not have lost any family members or friends to the pandemic. I have seen the negative impact these virus had on families and communities all over the world.
I have seen the several loss of life and the emotional heartbreak it has taken on people's loved ones, and my thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been affected in one way or the other of the COVID.
The most difficult moment for me during the pandemic was when I fell victim to a scam, and my boss lost a significant amount of money because of me, the amount lost was roughly #120,000 which can be converted to 750 STEEM, and this was due to carelessness from my side, I couldn't believe myself for the whole moment because this takes a lot of toll on my emotions.
It was a very tough lesson for me to learn, but I'm glad it taught me the importance of being vigilant, especially during challenging times like the covid as people are trying to find a means of making earnings even if it is at the detriment of others.
COVID taught me a lot of things, and most importantly, it taught me how to prioritize my health above anything else.
As the pandemic was coming to an end, I became more aware of the importance of prioritizing ones health as a good health comes first before anything. Which after this , I started paying more attention to my physical and mental well-being, making sure to take care of myself as best as possible.
The pandemic has shown me the importance of health and wellbeing, and it is a lesson I will carry with me forever.
Concerning the Financial aspect during the pandemic, it was really challenging just as it was for many people as well. But I'm glad I was fortunate enough to learn a new business service and was able to work as a sales marketer for my boss which was like an aunty to me before the incident of the scam happened which made me left the place.
Although the pandemic affected my finances negatively, but It could be worse and I was still able to cope with the help of my family's assistance and their constant support.
In conclusion, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a great challenging experience for most of us. It has forced us to adapt to new ways of living and working, and also it has made us appreciate the importance of health, and make us realize to prioritize our well-being above anything else.
Despite these difficulties, the pandemic has also taught us valuable lessons on appreciating our heath being and make us adapt to various means of making earnings and adapting to certain circumstances.I would like to invite @yakspeace, @Lhorgic, and @jasminemary to participate in this contest.
