Smoking as become an habit that must youth are getting themselves involve with just to feel among and not be left out among their peer. Some only want to try it out once to know how it feels in the body only to find themselves an occasional users then finally an addict. Smoking has been display as a good thing by some of our parents, guardian, stars and social media that even though it is boldly written on some of it packs that smokers are liable to die young they find it hard to believe and quit.
Give your views about the phrase "Smoking Kills!".
Smoking is the act of smoking smoke of plant into our lungs no matter how it is been branded or package. Smoking is a silent killer that not only kills it users but people around who also inhale the smoke (second hand smokers). It attract it users with pleasure and begins to kill them slowly after he has make them addicted to smoking, smoking affect all organs of the body because when we smoke we take in monoxide into our body which reduces the oxygen supply in the body and once oxygen supply is reduced the organs in the body will not have enough oxygen to function well, when our organs cannot functions well again we die slowly. Smoking is responsible for lung disease, lung cancer and some heart disease.
What are the main reasons why people become addicted to smoking?
People smoke alot of things but most common is tobacco when one smokes more than 4,000 compound is taken into the body, smoking as two powerful weapon (pleasure and addiction) he uses on it users. At first when someone start smoking he releases the first weapon which is pleasure the users find pleasure by taking small quantity and wish to continue because of the pleasure he derived later the body begins to build tolerance in which he will need to increase the quantity to a larger one to attain the same pleasure he derived from the small quantity he was taking before, the more he smoke the more he releases more than 4000 compound Into his system among them is nicotine which help smokers control their mood, maintain attention, control appetite and this nicotine also releases addictive properties into the body which makes the person become dependent on the use of tobacco when this user decide to stop maybe after he realized smoking is bad for his health, society and family life it becomes difficult because the nicotine in his body will start reacting in the form of withdrawal symptoms and unless with help this withdrawal symptoms will not allow him to stop.

I am not addicted to smoking but I have seen people around my neighbourhood been addicted. After their addiction they start to lose weight, look unkept, become irresponsible at home, stay out late at night all in the name of enjoyment, does not find pleasure in eating real food except to smoke and ready to spend their last penny on smoking.
What should we do to reduce the rate of smoking addiction?
The government should band smoking of all types and open facilities to treat them for free or augment their fee to make it affordable, available and attractive for everyone. Family and friends should be ready to render all the help addict need from them, we should avoid discrimination and been judgemental. Not all smoking are spiritual as it is believe by some people hence we should bring them to a rehabilitative and psychiatric center for treatment. Alot of awearness should be done to enable addict see reason why they should stop smoking and seek help.

Hello friend, thanks for sharing your thoughts this week. Some smoke as a result of depression, others as a result of peer pressure. Whichever the case, there are better ways to handle stress rather than smoking.

People smoke when they are happy, people smoke when they are sad, people smoke when they are too occupied and they smoke for pretty much every reason. But quitting is the only remedy that will keep them safe. Thanks and wishing you success.
