Rio Chico Y Olón !!! Ecuador !!!
A good Swell is always good to take advantage of, so today the Olón local team moved to Rio Chico a secret spot known by locals and neighbors. The amount of water flowing over this wave was incredible, In this place there is an incredible Left strength and power, there are rocks so you have to be careful when entering and leaving and a small front wall if you take a right.
Recommendation: always take left, it was not possible for all levels, this time, David, William, and Orlando, are locals of the area, the trip was relaxed as we left at 10 in the morning, This time we went on a bus. It is an adventure to travel bybus with the surfboards on it. Well, as I told you yesterday, Rio Chico also suffered the overflow of its river.
It was not a lot but we skipped the small river and we arrived at the place, It was good to see some characters that stand out here in Ecuador, such as the Sangachi brothers. We chatted for a few moments and then we entered the water, feeling that Rio Chico prepared for us. When we returned from Rio Chico, we took advantage of the last waves of the day around 5:00 p.m., I think I spied around 50 surfers in the afternoon today, we finished with a great farewell to our friend the sun.
