Receive a warm greeting from the BoC family. Today I want to share with you all a session of close-ups of several dandelions. Photos that I captured in the early hours of the morning.
But as a photographic model it is excellent, as its pink flowers tend to grow in groups but separated from each other, this creates interesting compositions where unopened buds, mature flowers, the seeds forming a white sphere or the remains of this drying can appear simultaneously.
I investigated with Google Lens and the result was that the scientific name of this flower is
Crassocephalum crepidioides, from the daisy and dandelion families. However, this is considered a weed, as it tends to invade crops and gardens, due to its rapid spread and growth.
In this post I collected photos of several white spheres, which are actually the seeds waiting for the wind to fly away.
I took the photos with my A7S camera, getting quite close to where the flowers were. Then I edited them with crops and modulation of lighting and color saturation to highlight the contrasts.
