A very fast spotless ladybug | My Macro-Photos in BoC
My Macro-Photos in BoC |
---|
Happy Sunday BoC friends, today I want to share with you an outdoor session that was quite a challenge, since it involved capturing an insect that, in addition to being small, moves very quickly.
Te name: "Spotless Ladybug"
It is a species of ladybug, very striking and beautiful, it has no spots on its elytra and the front part (black) has white spots that seem to form a "happy face".
Procedure
There I had to put a lot of effort, the ladybug moved very fast and as soon as I finished with the frame, she was somewhere else. When working with the cell phone camera, you can see that some photos do look blurry or out of focus.
However, I was able to rescue some shots thanks to post-editing with Lightroom, where I focused on contrast and sharpness, cropped for better framing and highlighted the colors.
Some information about the "spotless ladybug"
Apparently this species of "spotless ladybug" is very common throughout America, and in some crops it is used as a pest controller since it feeds on species that eat plants such as aphids and worms.
See you soon
