Love For Steemit: The Importance of Steemit | How Steemit Inspired The Shenks

Greetings to everyone!

The Shenks are back again for another update and a bit of inspiration to all of us. We have been so glad that the typhoon Auring does not hit so badly in out city and community. The rain was not a lot and the wind was not that strong last night. We hope that those places affected too much by the typhoon will get through with it soon, help would come to them and that they are all safe despite of the calamity that this typhoon brought us this year.

Why Steemit is important and how it inspires us?

Being pregnant and on bed rest with limited activities, steemit gives me a lot of time to do work without exhausting my self in physical activities since I have my beloved husband to do all those task for me and the baby.

My husband could help me think of what topic we could write and he contributed what exact word to be used in writing certain sentences. He would encouraged me to do more of the writings so I would feel productive at the end of the day especially when we get support from all of you through resteeming, comments, and upvotes.

Another thing why steemit is very important for us it's because we could use this as a diary of our journey and we could look back someday and recall what we have been through especially in our pregnancy journey.

Steemit is also a way for people like us who are not so extrovert to express our thoughts and feeling freely without judgement. As what the other social media could make us feel unvalued.

We feel much valued and well supported in this platform since the day we started our first blog. Though we were not that confident enough (now we are improving and willing to learn more) but you were there to support newbies like us.

Steemit has been a good and effective way for us to enhance our expressions through writing. It gives me and my husband more topics to talk about during a day just like how excited I am to give him update when we get support especially to the admins and curators. It's one of the most exciting news I could share to him.

Steemit enable us to learn different things from different people and culture. We could learn how they cook their meal, their places, their dreams and inspirations in life. We could also interact with them through their posts.

A lot of things that for sure gives us reasons to stay and to improve better in this platform by communicating our thoughts and participating exciting contests.

Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night to use the toilet or just drink water, I always make sure to check our account for any support when it has upvotes that made me happy and get back to sleep too soon! Exciting isn't it? 😁

That's why how we valued steemit in our lives and we would like to thank everyone who has been working hard to keep this platform alive.
