The only reason this isn't normal now is because there is more STEEM sold on the Market and waiting to be sold, than there is locked in SP on our accounts. And no celebrities or big brands are even here yet. We need to start email campaigns asking Companies to buy in to Steemit.

Since I have been sharing #Steemit with as many people as I can (probably over 100,000 by now) I have been getting a lot of messages from doubters. People who either don't know what an #Altcoin is or don't know what #Cryptocurrency is, and don't see how earning something called "STEEM" and "STEEM Dollars" can somehow get them money. So if you have a friend that doesn't think Steemit can earn them money, share this post with them so they can see it really works.

Thank You Steemit.

I am also going to start doing some GiveAways on Steemit, since I hae extra money, if anyone is interested.

The websites I used are #Bittrex ( for #STEEM and #SBD ) and #Coinbase ( for #Bitcoin ). Both are very secure and use 2 step authentication to log in, so no one can hack you unless they can check your text messages or use your email account, and know your login information for the site. So they are secure, and they each have a support email you can contact.

First thing you do is go to yours Steemit wallet. This can be done either by using the Profile tab in the right corner of Steemit.com or by going to Steemit.com/@YourUserName/tranfers

Then click the arrow that is pointing down either next to your STEEM amount or STEEM Dollar amount

After clicking the arrow, click "Transfer" and a page will open, you will need this page that opens in a minute.

Then go to Bittrex.com and go to your wallet at https://bittrex.com/Balance and type "STEEM" in to the search bar at the top right of the list of Currencies, and click the + symbol next to it.

When you do this it will give you a memo number. Copy that memo number and go back to your Steemit wallet and go to the page that popped up when you clicked "Transfer" and enter the account name "Bittrex" and the memo number that was provided. Then add your amount. And send it to Bittrex. It may take as long as 15-20 minutes, but usually us under 10 minutes, if it has been 30 minutes or an hour, and you have double checked and triple checked to make sure you did it right, then you can contact [email protected] and they can check it for you. They may also be able to redirect STEEM sent to the wrong memo, but they can not redirect Bitcoin that is sent to the wrong address, so be more careful with your Bitcoin addresses. With STEEM you are sending it to their account with a memo, so if something goes wrong it is an easier fix. Don't forget that STEEM and STEEM Backed Dollars are 2 different things are are supposed to be sent to 2 different memos.

Once it is on your Bittrex account, go to the main Bittrex.com home page https://bittrex.com/ and find either STEEM or SBD (depending what you sent). It will say BTC-STEEM or BTC-SBD, this means "Bitcoin to STEEM" or "Bitcoin to STEEM Backed Dollars". Once you open that you can either play the #Market and try to earn money #trading or just look at the most recent #Sell Price (scroll down slightly and it's on the left), you sell with the box on the right while you buy with the box on the left and the price goes up and down based on how many people are buying and how many people are selling and for how much. But if you have to get money out for something, then just go straight to the box on the right and type in the most recent sell price. You can also type in something lower than the most recent sell price and it will sell at the most recent sell price.

Once it is sold, go back to your Bittrex wallet and you will see it there.

Click the - symbol and a page will open. Leave it open and go to the next step.

Now you need to go to Coinbase.com to sell your Bitcoin.

Click "BTC Wallet" on the left of the page

Then click "Wallet address" at the top right of the page

And now you have your Bitcoin Wallet address, copy and paste this to your Bittrex page that popped up when you clicked the - symbol

If you want to make sure you are doing it right, send a few smaller amounts first, then send the larger amount, just to make sure you don't mess up

*It can take up to 45 minutes for Bitcoins to get to a wallet, so don't be worried about it saying Pending for a while. Bitcoin is just slower than a lot of other coins because the block times are longer.

Then click "Trade" on CoinBase.

It will ask you to either attach a Debit Card or a Bank Account. Since you are selling Bitcoin, you want to attach a Bank Account.

Then go to the Trade section and click "Sell"

This page will have your Bank Account as an option to deposit. You type how much Bitcoin you want to Sell, and it tells you how much that is at the going rate (1 BTC = $650+ right now).

Once you sell it will say that you have sold Bitcoin, and it will give you a date (2 or 3 days later) that the money will be in your account.

3 DAYS LATER

Then you just go to the bank and Withdraw.

STEEM and STEEM Dollars are both tradeable for Bitcoin, which is tradeable for #USD and now you have seen it happen, and for a pretty good amount (not just a few dollars). If you know anyone who doesn't think STEEM can be turned in to money, show them this.
