It's your girl @negro-bby , This is my first time posting here, First of all I thank God for my journey on steemit. Though I joined not quite long ago , I joined middle of November. I was signed up by @badmus-official when we were in school that's Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria ,before we went on a break , So he signed me up, but I couldn't do anything at that time because I was preparing for my exam . So after I was done with exam , I went home immediately that's Lagos because of some reasons . When I got home , I remembered @badmus-official signed me up on a platform. So I asked him what can I write about . He explained to me , told me I will have to introduce myself to the platform, take a paper write my name , date and also write I love steemit, then hold the paper and take a picture with it 😂, I was like why will I have to do all of that,the whole thing sounds funny to me though, I asked him why should it be like that, he said so they will know I'm real.
Alright, all good , then I began, I got a paper wrote my username, date , I love steemit then took a picture with it . Did my introductory post and added the picture As time goes on . I made some friends on steemit , @icon-monday was the first friend steemit gave to me.
I started with my achievements post ,things became hard for me . Writing about basic securities, plagiarism, markdowns , at first when I started my achievement, @badmus-official was the one guiding me on when to do , it was a bit difficult because we were far away . @icon-Monday also guided me but still far away from me . Nevertheless , they were never tired . All lectures given to me was online, screen recording, screenshot and all of that. I really appreciate their efforts. God helping me ,doing my achievement1-4 makes me understand steemit and I'm still learning and willing to learn more . I also have it in mind to join the crypto Academy even if I know nothing about crypto. I believe I can do it.

The whole thing is just about SETTING A GOAL, CONSISTENCY and DETERMINATION

I also encourage the newbies not to give up , just try exploring, get to make friends, and also be determined even if things are getting hard . Once you made that determination, everything will look simple. Also do the necessary things by posting, commenting and upvoting your fellow users. Yes that also count. Trust me you will really enjoy your stay in steemit.
