Good day, everyone. It's a privilege to be here to participate in this contest and this would be my first time posting in here @steemitnursery. Before I proceed, I will like to say thank you to @anasuleidy for organizing this contest and it's a great honour to join the moving train.
With no further delay, I will be talking about changing one's profile, what is means and how to do it. Be my guest on this ride.
WHAT IS A PROFILE?
A profile is a short description of an individual, although, it is short but well detailed. A profile talks about a person in general, the profession, the interests, shows a photo of them and sometimes include their present location. Having said the few points above. I will like to show you two different pictures below that shows my old profile and the new one.
Let's talk about a few things that appeared in my new profile;
My Real Name: Feyikemi Oyakunle
Displayed Name: Feyikemi Oyakunle
Occupation: Agricultural Engineer | Graphic Designer | Digital Marketer | Cryptocurrency Trader
Location: Osogbo, Osun State
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO CHANGE YOUR PROFILE? Your profile is your image and one's image is a reflection of what the person does and who really he or she is. It's important to keep updating the profile because over time we acquire new skills and even moved out to another location. Updating your profile regularly helps people to know you better and it sells you to potential clients out there. In short, your profile is like a gig.
HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PROFILE
STEP 1: Login into your account
STEP 2: Click on settings
STEP 3: Input new details and update
I will like to explain few of the things above in the settings screenshot;
Profile Picture: This is asking you to upload a picture you want as your profile picture.
Cover Picture: This is talking about your cover picture. You will upload your desired picture at that section.
Display Name: This is your name section.
About: This is a section asking about who you are and the stuff you are into.
Location: This is asking you about your location.
Website: This is asking you to input your website if you have any.
CONCLUSIONYour profile update is very important, so update them regularly to what you do at the moment and it will connect you with more people and potential clients.
