The red-leaved Japanese barberry is native to Japan, Eastern Asia, and China and North America.

The red leaf Japanese barberry flower language is boring.

It seems to be often seen as a fence in parks, but it is also planted as a garden tree.


Although the leaves are toxic, the stems and roots are used as a stomach, and the dried roots and stems are treated with boiled water.
