CONCURSO DE AVENTUREROS SEMANA #1 // ADVENTURER CONTEST WEEK 1 // Nomination from @sampu // White Water Rafting at Teesta, India

This adventure experience was from 2013. We were a group of 8 person from Kolkata visited Sikkim for an extended weekend trip.

After staying in Bermiok and hiking to Barsey, we have done White Water Rafting at Teesta. The rafting started at Melli - a village in Sikkim.

The rafting instructors Ms. Anu Chhetri and Mr. Dinesh Rai has provided the necessary training. Then we had some practice near the river bank. Once the instructors are satisfied, they let the rafting begin.

There were two raft. Each instructor was in each raft. The participants were wearing life jacket.

The rafting was fun. We had an opportunity of swim in the river (with life jacket) once the rafting ended at Chitrey. This was a memorable experience for us.
