Hello friends and famz welcome to my blog once again, I trust you're good and keeping well. It's amazing how time flies, we are now three weeks into the engagement challenge and I must say it has been super interesting.

A very big shout out to this community for putting up this interesting contest about our daily work routine. I decided to put forward my entry since I feel a very strong connection with this topic . Let me do well to go straight into the subject matter without mincing words. I do hope you enjoy my entry.

Every morning is deemed a miracle by me. I do not take for granted the dawning of a new day. I say my prayers and then check my to-do for the day which is usually sent to me by my boss. Although I didn't get any serious task to be done today but it doesn't stop me from carrying out my daily task at work.

Am into farming and am presently under a brother and a boss, we are into livestock presently, we would be kicking off with crops soonest.
My first assignment each time I get to work is to ensure that I feed the animals. I start from the goat and then to the fish.

Me at our fish pond fishes

After ensuring the fishes are well fed, I come back to focus on the goats and birds. Just 5 days ago we move in day old chicks which have been doing really well. It's my first time nurturing them in a large quantity, am actually learning how this works without having so much loss.

I've heard a lot of negative report about people who went into this aspect of livestock farming. So far we've not been experiencing some of the negative things I've heard about especially in the area of incurring loss or running into debt. God has been helping us with the chicks though, not like we have everything figured out,it's just God's mercy.

Moments with the chicks at the farm

So today we couldn't continue with the processing of feed for our livestock. Are you surprised we make our feeds? Smiles...well my boss seems to be very vast when it comes to this field. We do not outsource our feed like an average farmer would do. We only outsource the raw material for making our own feed.

We process them ourselves using our farm machines which of course have been making the work quite interesting and less tedious.

myself and co-worker working on feed for livestock.

You can see we are happily carrying out our duties, that's because we find so much pleasure in what we do for living. I hope you won't mind joining us...lols.

This is what my routine entails daily apart from some other special duties of leaving the farm to go get some important things done out there for my boss and for the farm as a whole. For example, I went to get feeders for the chicks today.

Oh, I almost forgot to inform you of our preparation for planting. We already cleared our land and we are gradually preparing it to accomodate seeds for this planting season. Anyways this is my daily routine...Wish us well friends. Smiles.

Enough has been written already about my routine dairy. I trust you enjoyed reading it. Thanks for staying with me. Le me invite my friends @waqarahmadshah @harun19 @drhira @josepha to this contest. Gracias!

Working in poultry is greater because taking care of birds is giving life to them. I wish you best of luck.
