Good day steemians!

BRIGADA usually done a week before the opening of classes of new school year. It is an activity wherein the community will help hand in hand in preparing the school for the opening of classes. Barangay officials sent their members to help clean the surroundings of the campus and help paint and fix what has to be fixed. We also encouraged the parents as well as the students to help us before they will go to the enrollment committee.

And some of the communities especiall the companies and establishments will go and visit to the school and will donate something. Some donate food and snacks for volunteers, some just donate cash and others will give some materials to use like paint, cleaning materials and others.

This is the best activity because we can prove here that there were good people who used their extra time and volunteer to help for preparing the school.

**And for Brigada 2024 theme is "Bayanihan para sa MATATAG na paaralan".

The theme emphasizes that in order for us to have a school reaady environment, we had to help hand in hand. What we do is for the kids who is the hope of our nation.

After the parade of the selected teachers, we then had a short opening program wherein our District Supervisor officially open the Brigada week.

Afterwards, I then start sorting the things to be use and throw the things I will not use. Then we had a free lunch from our school. Then after lunch I then started to make some school requests which were overdue.

At 4:30 I then went home and went to a Bakery shop to have some snacks while waiting for my hubby to fetch me.

It was a very long, tiring day but fulfilling. I am excited to open school year 2024-2025 with a clean and conducive to learning classroom.
