"SEC - S9W4: "My Passion for the Arts"
This is @aditi993.
From #Bangladesh.
How are you all? I hope you all are well and safe by grace of Almighty.
Today I am participating in the Steemit Engagement Challange titled, "SEC-S9W4: “My Passion for the Arts" in “Recreative Steem” community.
Well, I think people become passionate about something when they gain appreciation for their own skills and creativity in a specific sector. At a very young age, I was extolled for my drawing skills by my school's drawing teacher. Since then, drawing has become my passion and love. I also love craft.
From a very early age, before going to school, my family appreciated my drawing. After I get admitted in school, my teacher and my classmates also extolled me for my drawing skills. That time, I discovered my ability to develop this art.
No, I didn’t take any classes or studies to improve this skill other than my simple school drawing classes, which are generally practiced in every school.
My greatest inspiration when practicing this activity is realistic genre paintings, and in this sector, my favorite character is the famous painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau, a French academic painter. He basically used mythological themes in his realistic genre paintings. I love realistic paintings, and I am trying to develop my painting skills.
No, I do not practice it professionally, and I think that I am a beginner in this sector and should practice it more to develop my skill.
Other than my school drawing examination, I didn’t take part in any "drawing competitions" in my life. But at the same time, I think winning a competition encourages someone to develop their skill, but I believe that a person's entire skill, talent, and creativity cannot be judged by competition.
My journey on the Steemit platform is not so long. Within this period, I have taken part in some contests. These are given below:
Some of my other contents:
I am going to share my drawing of a little bird, "Robin" with you.
I have presented my drawing step by step. I hope you can understand the steps how I draw it.
Drawing Supplies:
• Art paper,
• Sketch pencil 2B and 8B,
• Eraser,
• Pencil sharpener.
Drawing Steps:
Step 1:
At first, I have drawn shape of a little bird robin with 2B pencil.
Step 2:
Then I have drawn some curves to separate its parts of body. Then I have drawn its eye.
Step 3:
In this step, I have shaded its upper parts (head, eye, beak, and wings) properly.
Step 4:
Then I have shaded the rest of its abdomen properly.
Step 5:
Finally, I have drawn and shaded its claws, tail and a tree branch as if the bird is sitting on it.

I would like to invite @farjana123, @jannatmou, and @nilushdushan to participate in this wonderful contest.

Thank you so much dear for your valuable comments..
Hello friend @aditi993,
Nice to know that at a very young age you were praised for your drawing skills by the drawing teacher at school which is really cool. Since then drawing has become your passion and love and at the same time you love the craft which is your own skill. I myself love arts and crafts because I enjoy practicing these arts. I appreciate your periodic presentation.
Thank you dear friend for your appreciation. All of your compliments mean a lot to me...
