How I take care of my health everyday.

Steem greetings to everyone. Health is a state of complete mental ,physical and social well being and not only the absence of a disease or infirmity as defined by the World Health Organization. In order to be healthy we need to take good care of our body as a whole this is because if one part of the body is not functioning well it might affect other parts and eventually the whole body becomes sick. In Order to take care of our health we need to consider many aspects beginning from hygiene of our body to hygiene of our environment.

HYGIENE OF OUR BODY
Body hygiene includes;
*caring for our hair on the head by washing with shampoo and clean water daily , Wash Your Hair Regularly. Washing your hair regularly ensures that your scalp and hair is free of dirt and excess oil.
-Use Chemical Free Shampoos to wash your hair.
-Condition your hair Correctly.
-Dry Your Hair Naturally.
-Oil Your Hair Properly.
-Use A Wide-toothed ,clean Comb to comb your hair.
-Trim Your Hair Regularly(for those keeping low cuts)
*keep pubic hair low
*brush your teeth atleast 3 or 2 times a day to keep them clean and also prevent dental caries.
*Take a bath atleast twice a day to keep your body clean and fresh.
-Bath with shower gels that don’t contain harsh chemicals that could harm the body.
*keep your finger and toe nails clean(short)to avoid accumulation of pathogens.
*wash your face and even your eyes with clean water ,once in a while wash your eye balls (fill water in one hand ,use the other hand to open your eye and splash the water into it).
*Put on clean underwears and clean clothes
*we should iron our clothes after laundry to kill any germs that settled on them.
*Make sure to get the vitamin E from the early morning sunlight ,the body also needs vitamin E to boost its immune system so that it can fight off invading bacteria and viruses.

ENVIRONMENTAL HYGIENE
*Keep your environment clean by draining stagnant water. This is a means of clearing away mosquito breeding ground ,preventing spread of diseases.(for example malaria)
*wash our beddings as often as possible to prevent lies or skin rash.
*Avoid polluting the environment with garbage that would attract insects that are harmful to man and his health.

HERE ARE SOME OTHER THINGS I DO TO MAINTAIN MY HEALTH.
-I eat fruits daily to boost my immune system and also so ease digestion to prevent gastrointestinal disorders.

*I make sure to get just enough sleep ,why I say “just enough sleep” is because getting too much of sleep is a disease and getting less of sleep on the other hand is also not good for your health.

*Also ,I drink mint tea every morning and evening ,I planted mint infront of my house from which I harvest and boil. Mint water doesn't just taste good; it's also good for you. Several studies indicate that drinking mint water is beneficial for your health. It also helps you maintain weight(or loose weight)

*Every evening when I get back from school I boil water and inhale the Steam ,our lecturer told us that steam inhalation helps to kill any germs if present in our respiratory tract ,especially now that COVID-19 is present and it’s a respiratory tract infection. Dear steemians practice steam inhalation and it will help you prevent COVID-19.
