Animals are very intelligent, if you teach them, they learn. My turtles got used to eating rice, now, I have to feed them rice. But, I try not to do it so often because that is not their natural diet, in the yard there are foods that they can consume such as leaves and fruits. I guess they'll get bored of eating the same thing, I don't know.
