Inhabitants Of The Seulawah Valley

Hello my dear Steemians!.

When crossing the Banda Aceh-Medan road, specifically in the Seulawah Valley (Saree, Aceh Besar), we often see wild monkeys descending to the shoulder of the road to wait for food from road users. Starting from the habit of road users throwing away leftover food waste carelessly and the damage to the ecosystem in the Seulawah Valley area, the habit of picking up food on the side of the road has become an alternative way of obtaining food for the monkeys living in the Saree area. In fact, this has become a permanent habit for them, because based on information from local residents, these monkeys always appear at the same times and in the same places.

Sometimes the habit of these monkeys going down to the shoulder of the road can be entertainment and attraction for road users, but actually this habit also has a negative effect on their natural behavior in terms of getting food and there is a high risk of these monkeys being run over by oncoming vehicles. high speed. In order to get food, these monkeys run into the middle of the road to fight for food so that collisions between these animals and passing vehicles are inevitable.

It's sad to see this incident continuing until now. Such things should not have happened if we were aware of being able to protect the environment and protect their habitat, especially the tropical forests in the Seulawah Valley. Forests, which are habitats for animals and plants, should not be brutally damaged by humans (Humans Error). Because their main habitat is tropical forests, where they usually find food such as fruit, seeds, mushrooms and insects. They live in large groups which are divided into several small groups while looking for food during the day. Hopefully useful and thanks for visiting my blog.

Animals are very intelligent, if you teach them, they learn. My turtles got used to eating rice, now, I have to feed them rice. But, I try not to do it so often because that is not their natural diet, in the yard there are foods that they can consume such as leaves and fruits. I guess they'll get bored of eating the same thing, I don't know.

Very good post, especially because it raises the awareness of the population.

Thank you so much brother, appreciated it!.

It's what happens to all animals worldwide. We humans are shocked if a tiger, monkey, wolf, fox, snake or even rats show up where we live because we are there.

I love those monkeys and once spent several days in a park in West Africa sitting between them. It was the best and most funny experience ever.

🍀❤️

This animal is indeed a cute and mischievous creature, a memorable experience for sure!. Thank you so much for your good coment @wakeupkitty, appreciated it!.
