Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to be participating in the Steem of Animals community contest for week 2 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 11. Where we are presented with animal mascots as a competition topic. Today I will present to you about the use of my pet and animal mascot through this competition.

What is the type of animal you have (pet/wild animal, etc.)

My type of animal is pets. Cats can easily mix and live with people so I call them as my pets. Similarly, my pet cat can easily understand my feelings. That's why we call cats as domesticated animals. My pet cat is a friendly animal. I think if every animal can be taken care of properly then all animals would be pets.

We all know that cats have a calm nature that attracts everyone a lot. I have been fostering my cat for about 10 years. I have such a friendly relationship with my pet cat that she stays with me as long as I am home. Besides, I believe that cats help us to overcome depression. Which is very beneficial for our mental health.

Tell us the facts about the animal

If I talk about my pet cat, I would say that he is extremely mixed nature. My cat's behavior towards people is good because the cat never disturbs anyone. This is a positive aspect of my pet cat to say the least. Many a times he is seen sitting with a royal expression. Because my pet thinks my place is safe. So he moves around the house freely. Many a times sits on my lap and the animal feels very comfortable.

Another characteristic of my cat is that he keeps rubbing his head against my body. The reason for this is their love. Yes, cats are willing to mingle with their owners without fear to express their affection. This is how my relationship with my pet cat comes to light. My pet has a few favorite spots in the house. He likes to live in those preferred places. Eg : On my bed, on top of the almirah, on the sofa in our house. This means my pet instills a sense of security with my home and my family.

Are these animals available in other countries?

Yes, cats are found everywhere in the world. Cats are the most sought after pets. We all know that the cat is one of the most popular pets in the world. My cat is a domestic breed. We are ‍ call the cat aunt of the tiger. Because the tiger is an animal of the family of cats. I think my domestic cat is like a tiger sometimes. Because cats have many similarities with tigers in terms of behavior.

Like other countries, cats have started to be domesticated in Bangladesh as well. Like other countries, many people keep cats as a hobby in our country. I think cats are much more valued in other countries than ours. There is good quality treatment for cats along with beautiful housing. I know there is a country in the world called cat city. And that is Istanbul.

What animal mascots are used for (sports clubs, countries, etc.)

In Bangladesh, tiger is used as animal mascot as logo of Bangladesh Cricket Board. This is the official logo of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. The reason for using tiger is because tiger is the national animal of Bangladesh. For which it carries a distinct meaning. Not only in Bangladesh I have seen in different countries especially in sports clubs animals are used as mascots.

In that case, I would say that I think the tiger is absolutely perfect as a mascot of Bangladesh. Which has the status of my country's national animal and can also identify Bangladesh Cricket Board. Also, the use of a tiger as a mascot seems reasonable to me as the Bangladeshi national team players are also known as tigers.

Mention its characteristics and philosophy to make it a mascot.

I think the use of mascots certainly has a meaningful purpose in addition to artistic creativity. So that people can better understand the philosophy of each mascot with its beautiful characteristics. If we say about the mascot of the cricket board of our country, here the culture and freedom war of Bangladesh is promoted. Here are the characteristics and philosophy I have presented below in choosing a mascot:

• First of all, since the tiger is the national animal of Bangladesh, it is more acceptable to use the tiger as an animal in the mascot.

• The reason for using tiger as mascot is because tiger is a very strong and brave animal. In that case, the motivation of the players of the Bangladesh National Cricket Board works as a part.

• One thing that works as a philosophy here is that the tiger can adapt itself to the adverse environment, meaning that the players of this country should not give up in any situation in the game.

• Besides, another feature of using the Royal Bengal Tiger as a mascot is to inspire the young society towards the game.

• When it comes to choosing a mascot, I think about representing the culture of each country through the mascot. The reason is that when this mascot is recognized internationally, the country's heritage and culture can be presented to the whole world.
